could glass be used as a gemstone or is it used as a different tool depending on color? I used colored glass as gemstone until I got real gemstones. I got
certain energies from various glass
Blue : water, wish magick, Healing
Orange: Fire, power, wealth
Red: Life, psychic awareness, peace
Green: Wind, creativity, understanding
silver(Clear): purity, finding lost things, prosperity
purple: safety, better senses, strength
pink : Happiness, knowlege, good sight
could this be used or no?

I don't see why this isn't perfectly legitimate. The vibrations are different than crystals becuase glass is actually a fluid (believe it or not).

One of the "stones" listed at websites is goldstone. This is actually glass with finely ground copper mixed in and it works very well in magic and healing.

I'm very fond of glass myself although I haven't tried using it for healing. I do have Swarowski snowflakes hanging in my windows and am convinced they perk up my space.

You could also consider this a form of color therapy. There are methods using colored liquids or lightbox gels, but pieces of regular glass or those little colored glass marbles used in floral arrangements would work as well.
