IRC Chat help

I could be at fault here with an out of date trillian but I cannot get into the chat forum! I went to the oz.org perth server and it would not resolve My Dh got me into a US based oz.org server, but when I joined I was the Op! and the orgiginator? Help for the clueless please!?

Try another of the servers listed at the oz.org website to connect. Also, Z, the channel bot, was removed temporarily and at the moment the first person in the channel opens it.
