Today I got to thinking, how many of us carry an "emergency" deck with us at all times? How often do you find yourself really using it? What kind of readings do you find yourself needing to do with an "emergency" deck?
Myself, I carry a mini Hanson Roberts in my purse at all times, and in the years since I started doing so, I *do* find myself called upon at odd times to read. Last week, while visiting a henna client, her daughter called to tell her of a dream in which her mother was a prominent part.
Stymied, my client asked me to read for her, regarding the meaning/interpretation of her daughter's dream, which was fascinating, and not the "average reading."
I take comfort in knowing a deck is always with me, "just in case," do you also?
Then there are the times when you're alone, and bored to tears, and/or waiting. Then, you can take your deck out and just look at it, or shuffle it, or pull some impromptu cards for yourself, or strike up a conversation about them....
