Stairs of Gold - Crowley Tree of Life?

Apparently, the Stairs of Gold incorporates the Continental alphabet assignments with Magician = Aleph. However, it looks to me like the little tree-of-life diagrams on the cards match the ....Crowley tree of life, LOL

Hi northsea :) I see on pg. 13 of the 'ell-dubya-bee'
that he is indeed showing V & XVII switched around.
I think most people go through a phase with all this,
but it's one of those fun things, looking back on you
get to wonder ~ who ever really thought there was
any connection between Tarot & Kabbalah? hahaha!

But then, Kabbalah without Tarot is just plain boring.

While I agree that the connection between tarot and qabalah is very doubtful, I'm currently examining the connections that have been made by the various historical tarot authors (studying tarot history lately). I wonder why Tavaglione chose this quirky combination of Continental and Crowley, or if an assistant incorporated the wrong tree into the card design.

I think for a while back when Tarot was "re-flourishing"
people were excited by anything that related to it...
lots of times all they could find was the Victorian stuff
with jumbled Crowley-type rantings, and it was copied.

Experience has shown, that with just a little individual
effort anyone can see through the Golden Dawn ideas
and figure out for themselves that Aleph is actually 1.

Zero isn't 'wrong' for The Fool, but Zero is not One. :)
