who do you buy herbs/EOs from?

Ankou

Hey darlings,

I've always bought my herbs and EOs where I can find them in the
"real world", but I'm finding myself in need of things I'm not likely to just come across, and running low on things I bought and can't get from those stores anymore.

Who do you folks trust to purchase herbs and EO from. Particularly for medicinal and magickal use. Some of the companies I come across don't even have the correct scientific names with the common names! Looking for a good responsible catalog or web dealer.

Thanks Lovies :)

I am fortunate to have this lovely establishment in my area. I do quite a bit of shopping there.

They have a very large selection and the folks there are very friendly and helpful.

This is a great place.....never bought from them over the "Net" bought in person but they grow (at least most of) their own herbs and we have been very pleased with them...they are in Maryland.

Thanks so much :)

I've got to look through all of these. They aren't the types of sites I was expecting, thats why one has to ask :D I love the fact that several of these are shops you guys buy from locally. You'd think being in a big city I'd have some sort of catch all herbal shop, but most of them are Latin American or West African... I'm still getting the hang of the english names!

Any more good bulk herb shops out there?

Love and Light,

I love the Dragon Herbarium, and have found that they are careful about selling first rate products. Been going there for years!

We get most of our EO's from Young Living. We have a couple friends who are distributors.
They have one blend called "Thieves" that is wonderful combo of cinnamon, cloves, lemon, and some other things. But it is an anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, etc. It is fabulous for the winter season. It really helped us from catching anything on the plane rides this holiday season.
The website is www.youngliving.us
A lot of the massage therapists I know use this brand.

Another good place for EO's, herbs, and suppliments is Herbal Healer Acadamy. www.herbalhealer.com

Is a wonderful site! They're located in Salem, MA (I've been to their store there), and their prices are good... If you can deal with their slightly slow shipping. :(

I buy EOs regularly for my henna business off the net, as I don't find cajeput oil in town, and that one's essential for ME. Good prices at the link above, good oils, esp in wholesale larger sizes.
