Shifting signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini

Venus, the worldy authority of womanhood, represnted in teh Tarot by the empress moves from watery pisces to firery Aries. Women in general will be noticed, and upheld, meanwhile men are going to have to prove themselves more than ever, except when they already have. Young men may have issues with this, but other than that it will be a rather interesting time.

Mercury moving into taurus is financially oriented, and rather structured in its own way, be careful of being a bully though, it won't be tolerated. Mercury will flow through Taurus very quickly, so don't expect things to stick around for long, issues that seem to be omnipresent will make way for other more pressing problems, and finally the enterance into Gemini will force communication between opposing parties when and if nessacary.

The Sun, already in Taurus, will feel mercury zip and zoom around him, this energy will keep the the central issues in view whlei allowing only minor tangents to take the spotlight, a pathway for success needs to be seen, and this is the way to do it. Taurus is all about material and structure, a combination that will be emphasized in the next month, with very little opposition.

first of all, jupiter is retrograde, and the sun opposing this scorpio energy can be outright heartbreaking. Without hesitation there just might be visible oppositions between structure and desire, the foundation and design, taurus and scorpio don't always get along together in this kind of situaiton.

Aries Mercury makes a nice trine to sagittarius pluto as well, and thsi brings forth the communication of transformation, and possibly heartbreaking realizations. Stereotypes aren't going to be looked at well, so watch what you say or you may lose what you have.

A grand water trine is also in play (think three of cups appearing several times over), this being uranus in pises, mars in cance, and jupiter and scorpio. Going with the flow might lead you astray this time over, effort will have to be exerted to get to the desired destination, basically it boils down to this: swim for it or you may have to rely on help getting back to square one.

With the moon in cancer for the 3rd, and squaring mercury at that will generate emotional outbursts that probably won't be grounded in modern reality, that won't happen until mercury enters taurus. This will be followed by a trine to venus, and sicne by then the moon will be in leo, a fiery determination will be present, but without aim (quite possible) certain goals might be shut down with a lions roar.

Expect new endevours to take hold, but also expect higher authority to be very involved.

chiron and saturn

We had this before, during 2004, chiron was in capricorn and saturn was in Cancer, but now Chiron is in Aquarius and Satrurn is in Leo. To make this even more of a challange, chiron is going stationary and Saturn is full fledged direct, leading to a weird combination of astrological energy.

Chiron is the wounded healer, he is capable of restoring health to others even though his own is failing. Respect for practicioners of medicine is quite the message.

Saturn is the teacher and lord of time, patience and structure are the key words here, without the fulfillment of genuine expectation, respect won't be there.

With Chiron entering its retrograde phase, doctors, dentists and other members of the medical arts will have to respect their patients statements. Saturn in Leo, and direct at that, puts employees at the position below their employers, for food services that means follow the recipies, for call-centers it means sound professional, for teachers it means expect to be taught by graduates about what they have learned since graduation. But at the same time this also means that owners and leaders will have to live up to their roles as well, and expect that the people will want to be aware of the rules and regulations. Chiron stationing puts a hold on foreward moving projects and reinforces what is already there, perhaps to the dissapointment to some. All in all, the customer remains to be king, and the customer will be placing the restrictions and expectations upon those who serve them.

Quickly squaring Saturn and shortly thereafter chiron will be mercury, who will be the great communicator in all of this, and rather quickly too. Mercury at the speed he is at, will indicate how things are with no rebuttal allowed, at least on duty. Further more, the reality of money and repeat customers will be presented in a way that won't be ignored, mercury in Taurus is very money and material oriented.

The sun oppose Jupiter activates both signs with ferocity, th expediture of money is a general reality, and the sun in material taurus demands that teh money be spent wisely, a difficult combination but doable, at least for the short term. some Business owners will have to rethink their budget cuts, while others will have to be realistic as to the nature of their business and its costs. Conflict of culture will be the issue for a while, and in the end the culture of locality will win out, those who have been there longest make the rules and enforce them with a steel hand in a velvet and laced
glove.

This week has mercury and the sun moving into conjunction and then into Gemini, but before that happens the moon will shift from serious business minded Capricorn to serious philisophical Aquarius early on Thursday morning. And before the moon leaves Aquarius, mercury will enter Gemini in the Friday Afternoon.

Saturday sees the major shifts as the 3rd quarter moon begins, 3:20am MTZ/5:20am ETZ, and in just over an hour later the moon enters pisces (4:39am/6:39am). That evening, 10:31pm/12:31am, the Sun will enter Gemini. Taurus's fixed ways will have to make way for lively and energetic Gemini energy, with mercury in conjunction to the sun there is a lack of stillness, convestiosn will be all-encompassing, and for those who are unfamiliar with such themes will feel, well, kind of distressed over it all.

During this solar shift, the sun will be inconjunct to pluto, tenseness will be present in regards to duty, sun is still in taurus, so structure will be the highlight, and as the sun moves to gemini it will be talked about. Pluto is still at 26 sagittarius so there is a philosophy about what the expecations are, and they are for everyone. Mercurys following inconjunct to pluto will vary from situation to situaiton, but mercury going ahead of the sun will be someting to watch out for, don't expect any backtracking or any dead issues to be broght back to life, the here and now are the reality at hand, don't expect minor issues that happened 5 years ago to have a great deal of impact now, but they might come up anyway, if that does happen, remind everyone that everythigng in the last 5 years has evolved and developed in proper time, including your work ethic if that be the issue at hand.

the lunar shift into Pisces will be a downpour of spirituality and spiritual themes, as well as teh general conversations. Crossing Uranus, planet of both indiviuality and collectivness, also that of rapid change. also associated with electricity, uranus will be activated through the weekend, monday shows a return to the familiar with a powerful burst of awakening. Uranus is in direct opposition to the darkmoon, and thus the moon wil be clost to the earth, but also moving back into bounds from a very interesting full moon.

Intuition has and will continue to be a major factor in the reality being presented.

retrograde notes

Last monday, the 15th, Chiron went retrograde as the afternoon got underway, that evening the moon entered capricorn.

next monday, the 22nd, neptune will go retrograde as the morning hours start to engage the mind, the moon enters shortly thereafter.

With aquarius chiron and the capricorn moon, the effects were slow to reveal themselves, but now that it is all in the open air, there is a lack of pisces followthrough. The Aries moon and Aquarius Neptune will have a much quicker impact on people.

on the 15th, mercury and the sun were in taurus, on the 22nd mercury and the sun are in gemini, this amplifies the speed, gemini being much much more agile and flexible in this situation while taurus is slow to move into position.

venus continues to square mars, male an female contrast wll be the featured struggle, aries contrast to cancer creates a dynamic situation that isn't going to be resolved with ignorance and assumption.

Mars is also inconjunct to neptune, blockages in individual thought might be an issue, but also blockages in masculane assertivness may be a constant reality for the time being, the results will vary from situation to situation, and place to place.

Memorial Day Weekend

With the moon closing in on its new moon phase in Gemini, and venus in trine to pluto in Sagittarius, as well as in square to mars (and juno) in Cancer. mecury in Gemini will also square uranus in Pisces.

All of this for Memorial Day (US) travel. Be patient and don't slow down to observe an accident, you might end up causing more problems then you deserve. Mercury and the moon will both be beyond 23 degrees of their inclinatin/declination, therefore their energies will be exagerated and unconstrained. Keep the energy lively and up to date, and don't forget long-standing pop culture, instead of the fad culture that fades like an old pair of jeans.

Mercury and Uranus square is going to be a rough transit, and mercury will not be retrograding past this point again, so until there is a trine with mercury in cancer, expect strong opinions and headbutting, best to stay out of it if you aren't looking for the lead position. Gemini and Pises don't alwasy get along, Pisces is about spiritual understanding with ituition, gemini is about intellectual analysis and rational thought, the two don't alwasy get along, and becasue of that there is a tendancy to exert attitude towards one or the other and disregard a synthesis of the two as a rational means to an end, if only a temporary means.

moon inconjunct to jupiter will put emotional stress and financial stress at each others throats, hard decisions will have to be made, but not at this moment, this moment is about the realization of what the modern days issues and problems entail. Gemini moon is about being flighty and moving from one issue to another, but be careful of having too much stuff going on at once. Jupiter retograde in Scorpio is about re-evaluating how things have changed, jupiter is the planet of expansion and good fortune, both of which are on the rebound and return to a constrained enviornment. It is all about being real with jupiter in retrograe, and the moon in gemini is very decieving, this weekend might show more with the surface body language than with the in-depth conversations. Uranus may cause diversion in conversation, so be patient and things will come together in time.

Venus and Pluto trined in fire signs is a welcome burst of energy, but also exhausting, those who talk at an endless pace just might be de-energized as the weekend comes into being. Sagittarius is about philosophy while Aries is about drive, these two are bound to drive eachothers energy levels beyond capacity, and then it all resets to zero. Be careful, if too much is at stake you might lose more than you ever put in.

relieving much of this weekend weirdness will be mercury trine to neptune in aquarius, gemini and aquarius get along well, and mercury is about mental capability and communication, while neptune is about imagination and mystery. This combination will allow for refined conversation to take place.

Mars and Juno (and Vesta) in Cancer will be inconjunct to Sagittarius Pluto and Ceres in Capricorn. the Desire for certain foods will be well known by the time this weekend starts, so be careful as to what you say or it may not come to you. Understand that everything is difficult for a certain group righ tnow, and that group will be demanding its proper recognition with tact, so take careof who you present yourself as and who you are trying to represent. Reality is quite fickle at this time, so be direct and honest.

Venus has entered Taurus, and quite speedy too, venus will soon become the morning star and encourage a more direct way of doing things. Until then, it will take practical energy moving steadfast, it only took 27 days for venus to go through aries, and taurus will be the next push foreward.

Mercury has been fast, and is starting to slow down a little bit, good things too, any faster and our minds would shut down. Mercury will be direct until July 4th, when mercury goes retrograde in cancer.

However, Mercury will oppose pluto in sagittarius and later enter Cancer on June 3rd, and zip on by at that, so expect the shift from the intellectual to the emotional state of mind to be quick and painless. Beware of misaligned intentions and philosopies that are out of date, out of place, and out of time. The reality is that upholding concepts such as age discrimination and genderism will be put to a loud screeching halt.

But perhaps more importantly is the sun inconjunct to jupiter come june, and what an inconjunction it will be. Jupiter in Scorpio and the Sun in Gemini means that the waters are getting choppy and cold. Jupiter in Retrograde doesn't help things at all, the reality of economic struggles and unfairness doesn't being revealed isn't going to make things any easier on those who feel that they have been liberated from such resonsibilities in turn of more 'luxurious burdens.' In fact those responsibilities have been revealed to be nessacary for a healthy lifestyle, the start is to create an opinion instead of leaving a void of one (and thus avoiding one alltogether). Gemini is all about opinion, and how opinions change all too quickly, the only people to get out of this one just might be solar leos who act as a catalyst of opinions themselves.
