I have a lot of Oracle Decks.

And I love them all!
Well...Ok...MOST of them...

There's a bunch listed in my profile...but that's not all of them.

I keep discovering ones I forgot I had...that I squirreled away in various places after playing with them.

The other day I found a sibyll oracle under the bed, that must have fallen off the shelf at some point...
and there was one deck in the bathroom stashed away among the magazines! LOL!

I am slowly collecting a little bunch of my favourite Oracle decks to read with - and have found that I am making some as I go.

Theres still some I would love to have - saving pennies as we speak!!

I also had the Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud but I traded it as I found it a bit flat and disappointing. *ducks for the rotten tomatoes* The art is beautiful but it didn't work for me as an oracle.
My best oracle imo is the Piatnik Lenormand. It is not only very pretty but gives the right answers as well.

I only have two which I don't even use much for some reason.

-Madame Endora: which I find hilarious, it has a very quick and wicked sense of humor.
-Dreaming In Color: beautiful, but seems to be better for three cards or less spreads.

I find myself surprised that I wound up with so many, as I consider myself a tarot person. But still love the SOUL Gathering rounds. hum, now I think about it, maybe that is why I have so many. My list is in my profile but my favs are the Froud Faeries and the Dreaming in Colour deck.

I started 'collecting' oracle decks during the more dry tarot decks' spells, either because at the time there were no new tarot decks available or that I didn't feel I needed to add any new decks .

However as months went by I found myself having many of them, and started actually enjoying and connecting with these oracles, which I now read with sparingly . Most days I draw a one to three cards a reading, either in conjunction with or to complement my tarot reading(s)

I make it a point to add new decks that I feel connected to as they come by ( check my profile )

I only have Madame Endora's Fortune Cards, but I'm also very new to tarot and oracles. I haven't used it much yet, but I do enjoy looking through the cards.

I have always been attracted to buying oracle decks, but not to using them much hehe.

Just yesterday, my collection upped by a considerable chunk because I happened into a place where they usually sell toys, but lo and behold, they had decks, and on sale with 50% off too!

So I went on a binge and bought like 5 decks, plus I found a jeu de tarot at the flea market (a playing card tarot one - nice pictures in the trumps and court cards, minors unillustrated, got my readers heart beating, good as new, and it cost only 4 Euro *smug grin*)
