Astrology for the Beginner

Can anyone recomend books and/or websites for the beginner?? I really want to understand it, but don't know where to start.

Good starting books are:

Alan Oken's Complete Astrology
Parker's Astrology by Derek and Julia Parker
The Practical Astrologer by Nicholas Campion

though there are many others that are probably as good as these, they are all written by recognised professional Astrologers and are readily available. They also cover most aspects of Astrology rather than concentrating on only one issue such as Sun signs or Houses.
