I wonder if you have organised the interaction between text and image consciously or not.
Personally, I would avoid a looking AWAY from your name by the figure (in this case the Bateleur) - perhaps ONLY to my eyes, but reversing the order makes it appear more inviting.
I always try and see things with an eye to what may improve - and could of course be totally incorrect in my own peculiar way of seeing.
A well balanced balanced card and clarity of what is being offered!

It is a great business card, although I like jmd's suggestion of having the guy look towards you rather than away. You could also reverse the image rather than swapping image and words to get the same effect.
