Appearance-I just see her have short grey hair, maybe up to the chin and light skinned? i feel she is not very happy and insecure with her appearance, maybe she's a bit shy. i don't see her looks being something that she is famous for. i think she thinks there are alot more things important then focusing on ones looks so she can look rather careless about her appearance in public. 2 of pents, 9 of swords.

Personality-she presents herself with authority and independence. she has a strong personality and is not a meekly person. she is an activist. she has a worldy power and influence. maybe she is into politics? I feel she might be in denial in where she stands in society and in her fame and thinks she got what she once had but maybe from age it faded? emperior, two of swords, death.

Occupation-Justice,page of wands, empress.

again i see politics or law, maybe into psychology or charity? she seems to be activly and passionatge about doing the right thing, i see strong ethics ,philosophy and morals. she might be championing a cause, and is seen as nuturing and caring for the people.

Cards drawn Appearance: 4:heart: 3:diamond: 5:heart:
Now I wonder if this lady is on the cusp of Cancer/leo or a water sign. Her looks were the envy of many woman in her time. There was something about the way she spoke, she had a way with words, like being a spokeswoman or something, generosity...A happy jolly person...I'd say she was always smiling. I think she may have been married a few times too. Elizabeth Taylor came to mind then.

Attitude:6:heart: 5:club: 6:diamond: Commitment seems to be very important to her...I think she just loves to be in a relationship. She is very optimistic in her approach with any relationship that she is in. She can't really take "no" for answer, what ever way she wants she gets.

Occupation: 6:heart: 5:diamond: J:club:
Her greatest fulfillment seems to be that through the Media..so this could be a film actress..she may have started as a child prodigy....or else she's been in the Media recently in regards to a young individual or children.

I drew three cards from the cosmic tarot this draw.

Appearance - The Lovers - Men are absolutely wild about her! Woman envy her.

Attitude - Ace of Pentacles - senusous, erotic, with a well balanced figure.

Occupation - Ace of Wands, ohh she's very creative, vibrant, radiant, she is perhaps in a lot of movies and drama in connection with romance and love.

My guess is Sophia Loren

OK, Here's my go at it. I'm using the Gilded deck.

Appearance - Four of Cups - Seven of Pentacles

I would say she is outdoorsy. Maybe grew up on a farm. So casual clothes. She is very wealthy. Wealth was both worked for and given. Dark hair when she was younger. Short or shoulder length. Grey hair now, and longer. She grew old gracefully.

Personality - Page of Swords - Knight of Pentacles

Impulsive and strong willed on the outside, but a little insecure on the inside.

Occupation - The Tower - The Magician

I think now she's a philanthropist. I think it's something major and important that she's doing.

I'm still pretty new at tarot, so I might really embarrass myself here. But it's a good way to jump in and practice. :)

I drew three cards from the Gilded Tarot.

4 Pentacles-King Pentacles-3 Cups

This person was not a rail thin, severe looking woman. Perhaps shorter and a bit broader. I would hazard brown or at least dark hair. But, this woman was not careless with her health and tended to her physical gifts.

This person had a benevolent attitude. Was secure with herself and her day to day life. She was laid back but protective of herself and those she loved.

Whatever this person did in her work, it was an act of celebration for her, and perhaps inspired that in others. Her work had the effect of making others cast off bad feelings and just dance inside for a while. I'd guess an artist of some kind, or maybe an activist for women.

Can't WAIT to hear the answer!!

When I was shuffling the cards I kept thinking of Betty Friedan, but remembered she is no longer living.

Using the Gilded

Appearance - Ten of Cups
Attitude - Justice
Job - Ace of Swords

No wonder she is old. I got the last card! She has loved and lived as much a she possibly could. She has white hair, light skin and possibly grey-blue eyes. Lots of wrinkles and a slighty hooked nose. She is a lady who does not care too much about beautifying herself. She is more worried about her loved ones, and keeping the "environment" beautiful. She may even do work regarding that - taking part in some Non-profit organization, Greenpeace, and the like. Has very poor vision and suffers from arthritis (especially hands-fingers).Plays an instrument (possibly- piano)

she is fair. She knows that whatever she got in life was fruit of her labor. that nothing comes for free. Possibly a relenteless fighter. Bad temper when upset.

She is not in a job any more. She is perhaps working at home, writing a novel, her autobiography, something related to "letters".

Archeon tarot

Ace of Cups
Herald (page) of Swords
IX The Hermit

Beautiful woman - aged well too - was on stage - maybe in a Lone Ranger play or film. Something with a masked person in it.

Name might have a gem in it like 'Ruby' or 'Garnet'.

She had long dark hair when she was young and a skinny body.

She's outspoken and can be very cutting with her words.

She's now become somewhat of a recluse.

Ok, I know I said tonight, but I couldn't wait...

"I'm so glad we had this time together, just to have a laugh and sing a song..."

Beatrix, I hope you're thoroughly embarrased! :D

I saw shades of her in all your readings!

Good job!

I was right about the politics.

"Burnett was a recipient of the 2003 Kennedy Center Honors at the age of 70."

she also went to school for journalism. she also has the Presidential Medal of Freedom award which is considered "he highest civilian award in the United States."

Well, I guess I wasn't horribly horribly off. I got about two out of three correct. So actually, no, I'm not that embarrassed.

I think the king of pentacles really relates to her caring for her kids in the way she did and also suing the enquirer. kind of like, she was going to be the good ruler of her house, unlike her parents. i remember reading in her autobiography that she often wanted to be the exact opposite of what they were. i think the king of pentacles would represent that.

Well I think the only thing I got wrong was she wasn't really the envy of woman as in her looks..so I'll have to think more about that.
Like all others this is so much fun!!
