Phoenix Cards

Voron

Has anybody else heard of these? I couldn't find reference to them anywhere on the site. They're a collection of 28 past lives oracle cards. My friend has them. I found them to be quite powerful. I thought they ought to be included on aeclectic.net.

The full title is:
Phoenix Cards: Reading and Interpreting Past-Life Influences

I have them, Voron.

I do use them for past life readings ...but I also use other cards (archetype and tarot) in tandem with them.

and I agree they can be quite powerful.
I really like the oracle aspect of them as well...using the planetary spread and the meanings in the back of the book.

If you do a search on this forum (use the advanced search option...with "Phoenix " as your search) you will probably find quite a few threads and posts about them.

I know I am not the only one who loves them!

Thanks! I tried a search before, but didn't know they were forum-specific. Regarding this deck, I thought it was amazing that The card I was most strongly attracted to (but didn't know what it meant) was for Pre-Christian Roman Empire, and growing up I was very heavily involved in our Latin program, went to National Junior Classical League conventions, studied Latin 5 years, and was generally obsessed with Roman Culture. One of the only two places I've been to overseas was centered around Rome. To top it all off, I grew up in the suburbs of Washington D.C., and work there (I'm currently here at work right now), and of course, it doesn't take much correlation to see The U.S. as the new Roman Empire and Washington as the new Rome. (especially with the architecture!!) Kindof freaky. The funniest part of it all is that I was mistakenly put in Latin class (I wanted to take Spanish) and I liked it so much after the first day that I decided to stay.

The Greek and Egyptian cards were a bit of a problem for me because I recognized them too easily and while I'm very much into Greek and Egyptian culture, I felt my conscious mind was influencing my decisions too much.
