Working with animals/owners - what crystals do you suggest?

I am a veterinary receptionist/assistant at a large animal hospital near my house. I am especially drawn to and have a good rapport with cats, but I do have a good basic understanding of dogs as well. I am beginning to make wire-wrap amulets and I want to make one to wear at work. What stones would you recommend for someone who works with animals and their owners? Communication with both is very key, but I would also like to incorporate a stone that helps ease fear (pets and their owners can get very nervous sometimes). Also some good general healing energy would be nice too.

Dalmation jasper is supposed to be a great stone for connecting with our fuzzy friends,, as well as cats eye or falcons eye.
When I am doing treatments on any pets I always have the dalmation jasper with me
