I'm fairly new here and have done a lot of reading through the postings. Some of the posings reminded me, Someplace in the back of my mind I have always thought about creating a deck. I have a lot of ideas, making it tough to start. Maybe if I knew what things readers are looking for I could create something from that. Already I have modified my ideas basid on the things i have read here. I work with all kinds of mediums (the colorful kind not the psychic kind).
What theme would everyone like to see?
Aids for interpretation?
Any thing else........

i would like to see a deck that is aesthetically pleasing with lots of pastel colours and wisps. I would look at it and it would stir my soul with its abstract images. I see it in my mind but it sure is hard to describe. Hope this helps.

Just start painting and studying tarot - let the artwork lead the way not the market.

I agree,do what comes to YOU not what you think others need/want to see. Your work will have more spark.

I totally agree with what was said here. I painted my tarot deck, the Tarot of Trees, for myself. And then others took an interest in it, so much so that I'm getting it professionally printed. But that wasn't my initial intent--my initial intent was just to paint a tarot deck that made sense to me! So I think if you find a theme you are passionate about, then your passion will be shared with others through your work.
