Tim Biskup Lucky Stack Deck in tin

On my way to meet Fallen Angel last night, I found a deck of playing cards in a shop that I couldn't resist. Thought they would be great for the times when I read with pc's. A Tim Biskup painting on each.

Ahhh! Don't tell me that, Sulis! I paid a tenner. That's what happens when you browse round trendy arty shops.

They are nice. Each suit has a different colouring, which makes each one individual. They are quite cheeky little cards.

Was just thinking about the difference in price. They may have seen me coming, but I wonder if some packs do not come in the tin with the extra cards. It's a very nice presentation tin, incidentally.

The cards are very nice. Might be a little repedative to some eyes, but there is a lot in them to look out for, if you read that way.

Just to add, they are a really nice thick cardstock, which has that kind of texture to it, rather than smooth surface.

Thanks LB - I love the way the courts all look quite miserable or as if they've just seen something quite shocking of just icky....

I like them... Methinks I'm going to get some :)

He does rubber squeaky toys of these sort of weird water / space / alien creatures too.

Yes, the shop I went into specialises in all that sort of stuff. All in that kind of illustrative media. Keyrings, toys, models etc. They have books in there, and I have seen other decks of cards before too in the past. I was on my way to meet FA, and didn't have time to deliberate too much, so just went for it. I shall not be using them for a while, but I am looking forward to when I do. Great palette.
