The Lola Tarot--Improvisation Ritual Theatre

I found a site today about the Lola Tarot, an improvisational ritual theatre. "It weaves together improvisational theatre, music and dance with Tarot card readings, creating uniquely interactive performances. Audience members ask questions, and through the use of various Tarot card spreads, watch these rituals come to live."

Oh yes, Lola Tarot. That is a great night of divination theatre. My husband used to be play with them, as a percussionist. It was all improvised. A bare stage with a rack of clothes, and the band over to the side. One member sits up front and acts as the reader, an audience member comes up and asks their question and pulls the cards. One actor portrays each card, sometimes working with another actor, sometimes involving the audience member. The band plays, magic happens.
