I'm kind of recent to Aeclectic and loving it!
I have a question: What do you need to change your status from resident to write your own? I thought by suscribing I would be able to change it, but I was wrong. Does it depend on your posts?

Go to your User Control panel (top left of screen = User CP) then click Edit Profile in the options along the left. Scroll down to where it says Custom User Title
This is the title that appears beneath your name on your posts. Check the 'Reset' box if you wish to use the the default title for your usergroup and post count. Enter what you want to say, then scroll down and hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen.

I think that is all you do.

hitting the "saved changes" button is the key to making it work. :) I have had issues with this part of the equation, many times. :D

Thank you for explaining me, but It doesn't work! I put my phrase, then ticket the reset button field, then press save changes and nothing :(

Polliana, you have to be a subscriber to be able to change your user title and have access to other areas of the forum. See here http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/forum/subscribe_details.shtml
