Ace of Swords...yes or no

Do you like the Ace of Swords?

I have a good feeling when the other Aces
(cups, wands and pentacles) are in a reading.
When the are reversed also, I don't mind.

BUT the Ace of Swords bothers me. I dont' know
if it is too blunt for my liking, or what. Find it very
blunt, aggressive and direct.

Just need some insight...

Why do you like the Ace of Swords and your
feelings about it, when it shows in a reading?

Thanks for your time,
ros

I have no favourites and I have no dislikes either, every card has its own story to tell, so pass no judgement on an innocent card only doing its job.

Papageno

agree with willowfox. I view all the cards with equal regard.
as for the Ace/Swords, it can be a powerful clarifier that underscores a situation, there's nothing ambiguous about this card.

Good points! :)

I understand but was letting
feelings over logic get in the way.

I think all the cards have a positive and a negative meaning... so, just choose based on your intuition or your feeling :)

Hmm, Ace of Swords to me is essentially a double edged sword, sometimes represents extremities-a very good thing or a very bad one depending on the situation etc. Ros, I think you just tapped into your true feelings about the card, nothing wrong with that in my humble opinion. For me it's always going to happen when I get the 7 Sw for instance, 99% of the time I really don't like the feeling I get when looking at that card!

I always think its a positive yes, if any Aces are shown in a reading. On some decks the Ace is crowned by a victory reef, i think it's displayed on the RW Ace of swords.

I also see it as a yes but it usually it comes from some form of conflict
