View Full Version : Posts not showing
I've been having trouble since this morning when the site slowed to a standstill [around 6am GMT]. Certain threads show new posts but when I enter the thread they're not there. I've logged off, cleared the cookies and logged on again but the problem persists. Is it my computer or a forum glitch?
...and if I hit the 'Go to last post' tab it takes me to the first post in the thread.
I think it may be a forum glitch, as it seems Umbrae's 7000 post party thread has a bunch of posts that no one can see. It seems to have become

It happened once before and when it was sorted all the posts showed up in the end but in the wrong order. Which made one thread I was in at the time seriously weird to read !!!! But somewhere in tech there is a thread about it where Solandia explained....

Seriously, I have noticed this with some of the threads, this one in particular stands out, as there was a posting from Netzach and then kwesifriends and it goes to page two, and then,.............vanishes,............nothing,... .....those posts do not exist, although they were made. Like a collapsed quantum wave.
Now that's spooky. :cool:

Missycab gave feedback in my exchange thread in the Reading Exchange forum. She pm'd me the feedback because it wasn't appearing despite it saying she had posted on the forum index. Once I posted again, her response magically appeared in it's correct place!

Post #21 was the wandering soul that took a long time to show up. It showed up as soon as I posted #22.

Ah, I have seen that before. Sometimes the first post on a new page won't show up. When a second post on the new page is made, it suddenly is available.
