wouldn't it cut some time if we just did a one week reading, 7 cards in one reading rather then one daily card reading??? or could events during the week change making it not as accurate?

^ I do both a daily reading (3 cards) and a reading for the following week (7 cards; one card for each day)
The weekly reading gives me a snapshot of what's coming up and the daily reading gives me an idea of what's coming up during that day.
So far, both daily and weekly readings have been accurate so far, but if there are cards that I don't like, I know I can change them but this has not been happening recently
It's up to you what you want to do. You mentioned about "cutting some time" to do daily readings, weekly readings or both.
For me, it's not about cutting time at all. It's also an opportunity to get my deck better and I enjoy doing it!
