So, I just came back from the gas station with gas at $4.10 a gallon and did a spread for someone who is looking for work, but can't find it. The rules of this game are simple, answer the following question by pulling two cards and interpreting them:

What is going to happen to the U.S. in the future?

My pull:

Knight of Coins (RX) and The Hermit:

I think that there are going to be many limitations set by dogmatic views (ie. politicians). Our votes and concerns don't seem to be concerning the government now. If they are being addressed, they're only used as a platform for the candidates for presidency. So much for a democracy, here. I have a feeling that the U.S. is going to be "on it's own" very soon because of the involvement with Iraq and the Middle East. God help us...

The High Priestess and Queen of Swords

The next president could well be Hilary Clinton, since both cards are feminine. There could be a sense that secrets have been told, and a lot of American's would feel in the dark, either figuratively or literally. However, I do see that there is a hope, like there is something going around in the background, that will come to light when it is ready to do so. I tend to feel that eventually the people would be listened to more, that taken into account, and will make the country a better place. It would become more humanitarian, equalitarian, if that makes sense.
