I can't help but notice everyone is choosing movies with heavy SciFi or occult themes already (although I think a 'Golden Compass' tarot would work if based on all three books).
How about a tarot based on a 'normal' movie - such as 'The Big Lebowski' or 'Titanic' ?

I'm actually considering a 'Majors Only' deck based on the characters in 'Sordid Lives'...I just don't know if "The Star" should be Tammy Wynette, Bitsy Mae, or Brotherboy as Tammy Wynette ....

I think Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings would work well.
I feel like Sci Fi and Fantasy, as genres, tend to have more sweeping epic tales that capture a full range of human experience. Makes it easier to imagine 78 unique, expressive moments from the storyline that fit the Tarot.
