I've Been Tricked, has this happened to you?

Jdance

(((Jdance))) you did the reading as you would for any other person and gave the reading in an honest way. You did everything right and how you should, this person seems full of drama! You might feel you have been tricked and she was dishonest but you did nothing wrong here!

You treated them the same as any other customer. You don't know if the person is the real person or gives their real detail, truth be told we don't know that from anyone online or even offline sometimes. We have to do the reading for the other person on what they tell us, we can't organise a private detective to verify them fully before a reading :D Just do the reading on what they say, you are doing the right thing, their drama and actions are their own responsibility!

Thanks danieljuk, that makes me feel a lot better... I know I can sleep tonight. people do the strangest things.. I just don't get it.

There was a person on this site using two different names, pretending to be two different people asking me (and others) about a situation in the Reading Exchange and Your Readings. I noticed similar cards and feel of energy from within the situation, alerted the mods, and that person was caught and banned. The cards don't lie! It's people like that though who seriously disregard/distrust whatever is behind tarot cards that don't deserve your time or energy... it makes you wonder why they even bother with the cards if they're going to deceive themselves so deeply, and maybe you right along with them.

Always, always stick to your cards! They will never let you down and may even alert you to some shady stuff going on when people are trying to trick you.

Someone submitted a question we'll call her "Angela" . A female asking about her relationship to a man she knows well, he is a friend. She and he are both married to other people. She wanted to know about how he felt for her and what I could see coming in the future. We did a past, present future spread (I didn't really want to read on his feelings). What the cards are don't matter a this time as it is what happened that has upset me. Ultimately, the cards revealed that they had a turbulent past, currently retreating and that the future looked like an affair could happen if all things rolled as they were.

So, here is where I was tricked! She writes back to me and reveals that she is not really that woman, Angela.. she is "Trudy" . She is another woman who also has a connection to this man, not having an affair with him but is suspicious of this other woman(Angela) she has seen him around with.

So, basically you were asked about a DECEPTION taking place -

So she was very upset and claims she knew it all along.. it was a similar story to her own with him
Meaning she suspected deception and expressed self-righteousness.
Your cards, whatever they were let you to suspect, that indeed, there was deception going on -
YOU WERE DECEIVED
There also was some chaos and confusion going on and you picked up on that, as in
Ultimately, the cards revealed that they had a turbulent past.....

As readers we sometimes get jilted wives coming and posing questions as iffff they are the husbands latest mistress.
Like "Will he leave his wife"
Most times I get the feeling "something is wrong" i most often get the mental image of a Trickster or a Spy :bugeyed:
When then I ask: "Are you asking these questions from YOUR POINT OF VIEW, OT THAT OF ANOTHER PERSON?" the stumbling starts......

Another pointer for me is, when a trickster card comes up Fool reverse may just be me falling for something, that in combination with the 7 of Swords ... oh boy......

Hello,

I have been doing some online readings. It is a case where people submit online their:Name, DOB, and a question.

Someone submitted a question we'll call her "Angela" . A female asking about her relationship to a man she knows well, he is a friend...
So, here is where I was tricked! She writes back to me and reveals that she is not really that woman, Angela.. she is "Trudy".

I actually responded to her that the story sounded similar because even though she gave me the name of another person, it was HER energy I picked up on.. so the reading was for her ...... I hope I did the right thing... I'm not a hundred percent sure who I read for now!!

Any one ever hear of such a thing!

Not happened to me yet - but I'm sure at some point it may.
All you can do is your best - and trust the cards.
You and your client 'meet in the middle' across the reading table. If they can't do their half of the meeting - that's entirely their problem, their Karma, their responsibility. The dishonesty is her loss.
It's nothing to do with you.

Elven

You read her cards with authenticity - your client lacked it completely.

What ever game they were playing with you, disregard - they got the reading they deserved regardless of what they called themselves.
By the sounds of things you may not be the only reader this client has shopped around for and asked the same question of.
I think they're not getting the answer they want and thought by changing their name they may get some insight into how to derail another person.
Looks like this behaviour may backfire on them spectacularly in the future.

Pity for them.
Kudos For You.

Good answer! Even if she continues this behavior she will always have your response ringing in her ears

Elven! Good to see you back! Believe it or not I often think of your cafe reader threads

which is not as off topic as it might sound

Thanks for the great feedback! You are right... I mean when I read it I didn't really like where it was going, but just pushed through.. my lack of experience I suspect here. That's for the tips!

Thanks so much for the supportive words.. I felt so freaked, and responded thinking, I wanted her to be more confused that me.. She is messing with her own mind now ! Part of me feels sorry for her and part of me thinks, she gets what she deserves.

Many thanks!
I feel a million times better after all of the support I have received here!

I LOVE THIS FORUM! :)

I would tell them geez sorry you wasted your question - if you're not truthful, the cards aren't going to answer truthfully either. Thanks for playing.
