What she said.

Has anyone (esp. UK people) been hit by customs charges ?

Hi Gregory,

Not sure if anyone has. Hopefully they will post here to let you know if that is the case. What is the limit in the UK where you then start being hit with them?

teawoman, thanks for the interest :) Details sent via PM, and the PDF will be forwarded today.

I am doing a spread for myself with this deck this week and will write a little review when it's finished. I am fascinated how the innocence and lovely pics and fairies come across in a spread. I really love the backs of the cards with their rainbow coloured design! Giving it a good explore this week :)

Gregory, it came to me via Germany and it's from Printer Studio. There was no receipt or value on the box and so I think should be okay if you do get a HK shipment, no customs problems for me. Definitely recommend this deck

Peanuts. £15, I think - and then there is the £8 they charge for collecting it. But if it is with Printer Studio - no worries - as you know, daniel, that is working for mine as well :D I wish everyone used hubs like that :D

Okay, so the deck has trickled to the western hemisphere and a couple more are still making the journey.

For those of you who have had their decks arrive, are there any initial thoughts? Any interesting readings? Any characters worm their way into your hearts as yet?

I have been keeping a journal of readings, along with a record of card appearance / frequency. Interesting how Emperor and Empress are leading the way, with some cards still yet to make a showing.

Still a learning curve for me also. One card in one reading had me stumped until a member here reminded me of an animal in the card. Once I read it from that standpoint, it made total sense. Yep a bit of a face palm on that one :)

We have a huge rugby match tomorrow, and I have done a couple of readings on rugby match predictions. I just don't want to on this one. Too much at stake...lol.

In the meantime I have had a husband who has let me be a little indulgent with stuff printed. I now have a 27" x 17" reading mat which fits perfectly on my readings table I use at festivals. (I mean perfectly - to the 1/2 cm!). Photo attached. I have to say, I love it.

There are also some pads to take to the festivals for note taking by myself or the sitter. Just glad I got the transparency level right. Red, blue, purple & black pens work fine with them. Again, deck based.

The final treat to myself? The deck in LARGE at a height of 5.75". This was more an experiment, to see if they could scale up and still look okay. The original scans were very low res, and I had to do some jiggery pokery to get them acceptable even at poker size. I think I did okay with them. They will not be offered but are a one off for myself - the poker size still seems to me to be the best fit for the deck.

In the meantime hope the characters are behaving themselves. :)

ETA Sulis has moved the readings I have done in the forum, so anyone can share readings they have done using this deck. http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=238412

Looks like all decks currently ordered now at their destinations. Huge relief now I have the initial batches arrive hitch free.
Apologies to those who had a longer wait than was anticipated.
Both deck versions still available to purchase. Anyone else wanting to walk in the world of Innocence, details are on post #31 of this thread, or advertisments section.

You may be getting more orders after this weekend Davina. I'll be taking both of my decks to BATS for show and tell. I still haven't had time to delve into the world of innocence though. Too mush else going on.... :(

Oh wow, thanks for that Rodney. That is really good of you to do that. I would love to have gone, but sadly living in NZ it is always going to be a hike for me to get to any big event I have my eye on.

Enjoy the event for sure. I know a few of my FB contacts are going, so I can vicariously enjoy the event through their photos and stories :)

My charming innocents have finally landed. This deck is so unique, even among the handful of self published decks I have purchased in my still fledgling tarot explorations. I must say, I adore the book which I printed out (at work, don't tell anyone) and keep with the deck for reference. It is so well written, explaining traditional meanings along with creator and artist interpretations, plus has a wonderful workbook section with EACH card to further understanding.

The deck is colorful, fun and friendly. I don't think the smaller card size is a negative at all (poker sized, so smaller than my others). I did a new deck interview spread and know that the Tarot of Innocence intends to help me along my way by weaving stories and forcing me to think outside the lines.

Kudos, Shadowdancer! I love it and thank you!
