Did anybody else get a few extra cards in their WS package?
I got the Magician followed by Temperance. I wondered if I could treat it as a personal reading, or if this is a regular occurance.

Hi,
The deck comes with an extra Temperance and Magician. I read somewhere (can't remember where) that these can be used as significators. Why they picked these cards in particular I don't know.

yeah, i noticed that...
the two title cards have the "temperance" and "magician" on them.
i didn't see them as usable, 'cuz they've got stuff like the copyright date, ISBN numbers, etc. on the reverse sides.
there's nothing mentioned in the book about them, i don't think.
another quirk in a deck, like the extra magus in the thoth tarot!
:D

Maybe because they display many features of this deck; multiculturalism; some partial nudity (and actual nudity in some other cards); non static/dynamic imagry; lots of color; lots of symbolism. Or maybe the meanings of these cards reflects the creators' goals; or they are the packaging designer's favorite cards. :)

I agree with Seed Crystal, let's remember Temperance card also appears in the box of the deck-mini book set.
