Hey everybody,
I am fairly new to Tarot and have a hard time doing layouts only to scroll through pages of pages to figure out what each card means. I have taken to writing keywords and themes on the card itself, upright and reverse, to help me learn quicker.
It seems to me some tarot deck manufacturer out there must have already thought of that. Is anyone aware of a deck that includes keywords, etc., on the cards themselves?
Any help is most appreciated.

Hi, CrysAnne --
I believe there is a fairly new deck called the "Quick & Easy Tarot" published by U.S. Games, which is comprised of the Universal Waite deck (Rider-Waite with nicer colors) with upright and reversed meanings printed right on the cards. There is also a deck called the "Starter Tarot" published by U.S. Games which also has meanings on the cards, but has simpler designs, almost like the Marseilles. I think you might be better off with the Quick & Easy. You can order it from Amazon.com or barnes&noble.com, or U.S. Games' website:
http://www.usgamesinc.com
You can check out this website to read reviews and see some of the cards:

Look under Tarot Deck Reviews.
Good luck --

Try the Rohrig deck. Fabulous imagery with keywords on the minors. The cards have a fountain pen meanings written in german and english. Its a larger deck, and is easy to read. You have to see the deck in person to do it justice.
You can see it at http://www.tarotpassages.com/rohrig.html
