There are some Japanese decks that I found while surfing mangaart.com. They are sooo pretty but the store there doesn't sell them all (only the miricle Tarot). They're all in manga form (japanese comics) so some people might not like them.
There are three:
Tarot Fairy by Yo Su-Lan
http://mangaart.com/tarotfairy/
Miracle Tarot by Reiko Shimizu
http://mangaart.com/tarot/
Passion Tarot by Kao Yung
http://mangaart.com/passiontarot/
My favorite is the Miracle deck.
Unfortunately, they only sell the fantasy deck and it's really expensive for my jobless teenage income (almost $40 plus S&H!). Has anyone else ever seen these decks elsewhere? They're imports so maybe not but hey...

The cards certainly have got a special kind of charm.
Dunno which deck, judging by the cards displayed, I like the most.
but thanks for the links.

Although I'm quite a fan of Manga, I'm not sure I could read with a Manga deck... But I'm pretty sure a Managa deck would be a wonderful addition to my collection!

Check out www.tarotgarden.com ... they have several Japanese decks for sale and I think the Miracle deck might be one of them. They are great to do business with! Good luck finding the decks you want!

If anyone here's a fan of Amano Yoshitaka, he has a beautiful deck although it is not based on a manga series.

The Miracle Tarot is available from Amazon.co.jp Here's the url (you browser must be able to handle Japanese characters):
http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/4592731212/aeclectictaro-22/250-2449785-5085061
Between shipping (roughly $12~$15US) and conversion fees, you would probably end up paying about $33.00US in total
Other decks available at amazon.co.jp:
Yoshitaka Amano
Ai to Shinpi no Tarotto Uranai (Love & Mystery Tarot)
Word of warning about Japanese decks - they tend to have extremely beautiful major arcana and court cards, but the minor arcana are often neglected, if not outright excised from the deck. For an example, see the 5 of cups from Ai to Shinpi here.
I agree, manga art is *LOVELY* I've got the Miracle Tarot on order with Amazon.co.jp

You are most welcome, it was my pleasure to help out. I think it would be cheaper if you got it from Amazon :) No point getting the Japanese deck with a book, I got one I ordered from the Tarot Garden (Wicca Tarot) and the book is in Japanese ~giggles~ Guess it won't be much help to me *LOL*.

Hmmm...
Dealing with Amazon.co.jp (ie, Amazon Japan) can be a tad overwhelming if you don't read Japanese. If people in the US are interested in either the Miracle Tarot or Yoshitaka Amano Tarot, the best place to find it is:
www.sasugabooks.com
The prices are just slightly more than Amazon.co.jp, and their interface is entirely in english. The only stinky part is that they don't have "live" stock updates on the website. You may order something and still have to wait 3~6 weeks for them to order it from Japan.
They have the =0"]Miracle Tarot for $35.65 and the =0"]Yoshitaka Amano Tarot for $35.20.
The Ai to Shinpi (aka, Moon Princess) deck is listed as OOP - it's not, but I guess their supplier just doesn't restock it. The Cat's World Tarot and a few others are available.
The Tarot Fairy by Yo Su-Lan or the Passion Tarot by Kao Yung usually aren't carried by Japanese bookstores since they are Chinese/Korean decks.
Also, Japanese bookstore do not carry the X:1999 Tarot Deck (at this time) because CLAMP (the artists) have yet to release an official deck. The manga is still in progress (the art for one card is released with each volume). What is often seen on ebay now is a bootleg Taiwanese edition.
I think shipping at Sasuga is $4.50 for the first item and $1 for each additional, though it's been over a year and a half since I ordered something from them, so don't go by my estimation alone.
Hope this helped everybody interested in the deck.
