Hi All,

Here we go again, another deck to add to the "I WANT" list. Just reviewed the Osho Zen deck and was amazed at how beautiful it was.

Any insight into this deck?

I seem to be drawn to the non traditional decks lately.

Thanks for the input,

cj

cj,
I bought this deck 2 weeks ago and I love it. The artwork is fabulous.
The suits are different from the "normal' decks, wands/fire has a red thingy depicting it, suit is called fire.
Swords/air is caled clouds and has a gray thingy, pentakles/earth are rainbows with a rainbow thingy, cups/water is called water and have a blue thingy.
There are 22 majors, named completely different then in RW, it has 1 extra un-numbered card, the master, which seems to be a picture of Osho himself. I leave it out of the deck.
The cards are called what they stand for, like "consience" , "Ice-olation" etc.
Take a look at this webby: www.osho.com you can see all cards there.
I fell in love with the deck the moment I saw it and have not regretted buying it.
Melvis has it too, and he is also happy with this deck I believe.

I've gone on and on about this deck in other threads, so I won't do that here (my fingers are tired from all the typing, you see. LOL). What I will say is that I love this deck most of all. It isn't traditional, but it has been an excellent deck for me. My readings are better and practically effortless with it. Yay!

I agree with all the above! lol
It seems for me to be a great deck for personal readings...interesting about leaving the Master card out...TEMPTING hehe. What IS the deal with that card? I get it every once in a while in a reading and just can't ever figure what it's supposed to say. (YES it does look exactly like Osho) Otherwise, exceptional artwork, fantastic insights, and really relatively easy to read...Often when something is especially troubling me I go to the Osho deck, thinking it's best in a problematic situation, to find out where I'm at...ie, take a good look at myself before stomping on any toes !
Hope you enjoy the deck cj!

Okay Kaz ~giggles~ you talked me into it and I bought it *LOL* ... WOW!!!!! I usually do not like decks with key words on them, but I really really like this deck. Very user friendly. I think what I like most is that it takes on the Zen principles of here and now not future predicitons. It also helps you understand synchronicity.

The Card of Osho you were speaking of, read the booklet that comes with the deck. If I understand correctly it is about mastery or finding a teacher to assist you with getting there. Once I read this I decided to keep the card in the deck and use it.

Also for you Osho-Zen fans, there is a CD called Osho Zen Tarot - Music for Tarot Reading also. It is really nice, see posting in the Talking Tarot Forum about "Sound of Tarot" I posted the info on it there.

Thanks for the praise on the deck again Kaz, I immediately connected with this deck even if it is not traditional!.

Love & Light,

I have this deck and use it for self-readings. The artwork is spectacular and I also enjoy and learn from the book interpretations. The book also includes a glossary on the card symbolism.

Jewel,
:-)
I am glad you like the Osho deck as much as I do, wouldn't want to have you "talked" into something you dislike ;-P.

Happy readings with it !

Hiya Kaz!

Like? ~giggles~ how about LOVES! what a great deck! Hey I read through the book that accompanies the deck, and the whole thing about the card with Osho's pic on it is there. Make sure and read it, I think you might end up deciding to use that card for readings after all ;) It is a very positive card!

Hi again,

Did my 1 card reading with it and came up with the Schizophrenia card...Just what I need.

The thing is I only saw a may trying to pull together 3 parts of his life (spiritual, Home and work).

Take a look and let me know..I am really not schitzo...

cj,
Schizophrenia (2 of Clouds) has in my opinion nothing to do with the disease.
What the card tells me is:
not trusting your intuition that your choice will be right=> to much thinking blocks a natural response/action.

Does this help?

kaz,
Not trusting your intuition??? So If I just go for it..everything will be ok..stop thinking so hard.

Is that it. You know I am (was going to type trying),,,I AM starting a computer based business "Magick Cottage Creations".

Do you think they are connected.
Thanks for the input

cj,
I would say not to dive head first from a high building but do a pros and cons thinking about it (calculated risk thing I mean). My guess is because you got the "schizophrenia" card your intuition/subconsious KNOWS what to do but your ego got stuck in the "do/don't 's", and "what if's" of it.
I cannot tell you what to do, and I won't say everything will be OK if you go for it, but in your heart I think you already know ......act on it.

Kaz

In a way you are right. I am going ahead with the business, I put an "out of pocket cost limit" and a "time frame (wont give up before)" on it.

The ego thing for me is verry on the money. I am so worried I will fail, no one will like my product, ect.....

I'll survive and pull it together. Hopefully, that was the message. The Zen way..calm down and go with the flow

thanks again
