I saw this dek today, 3 times, and I was sorely tempted to buy it, but I haven't seen any of the pics of it, and I asked if I could have alook at the cards but wasn't allowed. So, being prudent and cautious, I left it.
What is his deck like? Are the Minors illustrated? What is the artwork like? Does it have a theme?

Hi, Kiama --
This is a very pretty deck. The Majors are very traditional, like the Marseilles, but done in a very attractive style with soft colors. The Minors are not Rider-Waite type. They show an arrangement of pips on the top of the card and a little scene on the bottom. Sometimes the little scene relates to the RWS meanings but sometimes not. There is a review on the tarotpassages.com website. I think it's worth getting, if you don't mind some non-traditional pictures on the Minors.

Think in terms of pastel colours, cute little scenes, Death and the Devil are non-threatening…even a tad fuzzy...
If you use artwork on cards for interpretation, this leans towards the un-illustrated pip vein. The scenes have little correlation to standard interpretive theory.
You might like it for your collection…

You can see all the cards at Tarot.com.
I have this deck and it's very pretty. You really should have it in your collection... :D

This was one of my first decks. While I love the majors and courts, I'm not quite to the point where I can read with unillustrated minors. Although there are little tiny scenes below the pips, I can't really do much with them. Still, it's a deck worth having, as the others have said. Eventually, I'll be to the point where I can read with them more easily. Oh yeah, the backs are simple but very very nice.

I had this on my wishlist for Christmas but I took it off because I didn't like the Devil card. He is too obviously naked.
I keep being tempted by it though because I want some cards with non-pictorial pips.

I just got this deck yesterday, and I liked it instantly, from the second I opened it up and laid eyes on the Fool. Frankly, I don't think I've had a first-glance reaction as strong as this since I opened my Osho Zen.
Of course, I'm not used to reading the minors without helpful pictures... but I can learn.
I've bought far more tarot decks in the last few months, by the way, then I can reasonably hope to become comfortable with. I think there might be something terribly wrong with me.

Glad you like it, little. You'll have to tell me how you get on managing to read without pics. I'm not quite there yet.
There's nothing wrong with you. Well, nothing that buying even more decks can't fix. ;-) Welcome to tarotholism. We serve cookies and juice at our meetings. That's why I joined. At least that's what I tell myself and my precioussssses.
