Last week I had a reading done and this woman had the coolest deck of cards. They really spoke to me and I've been searching for them ever since. The trouble is I dont know too much about them. All I know is that the deck is larger than most others and the backs of the cards are blue with stars on them. They were really beautiful and kindof simple. There were people in them, nothing really out of the ordinary... Anyhow, have searched and not been able to find them. Oh, and they were pretty old I think.
If this sounds familliar to anyone, please let me know. It would be greatly appriciated.
Brightest Blessings,
Carlyn

Sounds like it could be the Aquarian Tarot, which is old and I believe it has stars on the backs.
Might be the Cosmic Tarot, which has stars. Although not old, the pastel look of the art could be interpreted as old.

Might it have been the Nigel Jackson? It's about 3˝ by 5 inches (actually, exactly 8.5 by 13 centimeters) in size, and the back is a medium blue with gold and white stars and an infinity sign in the middle.

The Morgan Greer deck has a blue back with white stars. I dont think it is any bigger than a normal deck though.

Here the cards' back is shown.
I didn't think it's stars...

I have an Aquarian myself, and they really don't look like stars :D
Here's Universal Waite. They look more like stars indeed! :-)

Yet, the most likely is Morgan-Greer:

All the same, they all are gorgeous decks. :-) (Especially the 2nd!)

Except that the Morgan-Greer is neither beautiful nor simple. ;p (Although it is old.)
For the record, this is what the back of the Nigel Jackson Tarot looks like: www.wicce.com/nigeljacksonback.jpg

Geenius: YOU SAID THAT!!! :D ;D :D
I want no responsibility! ;D :D ;D
Actually, I agree with you - that deck is the worst of them all maybe! :D
After all, "De gustibus disputandum non est"
which is: "each to their own"!!! ;D :D

I reckon its Morgan Greer. Although some people say it is not beautiful, I know quite a few who say it is. And its simple too. The back is exactly as Carlyn describes it.

I think it may be the Morgan Greer as well, I've just been looking at scans of it and the colouring makes the cards look old, plus if it was a well used deck it would look older. Also on the size - how big is the Morgan Greer deck? My Rider Waite is alot larger than my Hanson Roberts and Spiral decks so the Morgan Greer may also be on the larger size and make other decks look smaller lol :D
