Was just sitting at my desk and my gut, or someting else, told me to go to the BX (that's the Base Exchange for the non-military types) after work. Now mind you, I did not have time to go the BX. My 6y/o needs to picked up by a certain time etc... But the instinct was pretty adamant about this so I went. Now I'm the proud owner of this deck. I like it so far because the only knowledge of I have of Old Celtic beliefs are what I've gleaned from the Marion Zimmer Bradley Avalon books. These cards line up with that pretty well.
I hope this deck works out well for me.

Hi Jade,
I'm very excited about this deck! It practically leaped into my hands when I went to the exchange. I'm pulling out a piece of oriental silk that I had put aside awhile back and making a bag for it today. The deck came with a white box that will fit both bag and deck.
I did a reading with it yesterday and it spoke volumes. Of course I had to use the handbook etc...because I'm still fairly new, but the deck just felt right as soon as I opened the package.
I read some comments on this deck from previous posts (love that search feature) and several people use this particular deck for "pathworking". What is that?
Thanks,
Diana

DollChica, I have this deck. It was my first deck and still my primary deck. I did not choose it as my first deck, it choose me. When I found it in the store I just could not leave it alone. I kept picking up the box and looking at it. I felt deep inside like I had to have it.
I love working with it. I use it when reading for my friends and get amazing results. I have others now, but my Sacred Circle deck is the one I am bonded the closest with.
I hope it works for you as well as it does for me.
Dianne
PS. I knew what the BX meant... But I'm more familiar with NEX... Navy Exchange. :-)

This deck has a special place in my heart, even though I don't use it. I find the Minors difficult to read, so I don't use this deck for reading. Being Celtic Pagan, this is a deck which incorporates my beliefs in a good way... In a way that others can understand. I love the respect and reverence for the Land that this deck holds, and the way the Majors have been reassigned to fit more into the Celtic way is nice.
Enjoy this deck!

Hi...
I'm so happy for you. I did not start with the Sacred Circle..in fact it sat on my shelf for about 6 months.
NOW..It's my primary deck..the pix talk..the meanings help but it's what pop's out at you....where the bright star is, how the king is looking, is he bare foot..and so on....
Good Luck and I'm glad you were drawn to it.
