Please help identify deck...

Yesterday I was watching two different shows that showed someone using tarot cards. I am extremely interested in knowing which decks they were using. The first show was Port Charles, Lucy Coe was using the deck. Port Charles is one of the soaps that I was watching while home sick from work. This deck had an Angel card and a Child card if that helps at all. The artwork was simple like a rider waite style as opposed to the more abstract like the thoth. The second show was Charmed, Paige was using the deck. It is the espisode for Phoebe and Cole's wedding. Phoebe gives paige a new tarot deck as one of her bride's maids gifts. For the deck that they used on charmed one of the cards pulled had a man standing with three swords going into his heart as the "despair" card if this helps anyone to identify this deck. The other two cards pulled were “lovers” and “death”. I normally watch Charmed on Thursday nights but here they also run that episode again on Tuesday nights on another channel so I plan to watch this episode again on Tuesday so that I am better able to describe the cards here. I have tried searching through forums on these two particular shows with no luck in finding out which decks these are. I will try to post a better description of these three cards Wed. I'm afraid this will be very difficult, not everyone in these forums has watched these shows (personally I've never heard of 'm) but when they do you'd need to be lucky when they also saw this particular one. Although I can't help you out directly I would suggest that you take a closer look at the 'decks' section on this site. Although it will take many clicks I think thats the best way to find 'm. Start with the regular decks and work your way up... Since you've seen the deck you might even be able to pinpoint it a bit; did it feature any specific theme (dragons for example), or was it different from the regular ones anyway ? Perhaps if you can describe some of the cards there might be someone who reconizes this after all. Good luck with the deck hunt though!

i watch charmed but here we are behind in episodes but when that episode airs (which i am sure will be very soon) i will look out for it :) sorry i cant help you more on this...

Hi Lil-Angel, Just an idea, have you tried searching for fan-web sites with message boards for these shows. Then you could post a few messages and see if any other fans spotted the tarot cards used :)

Someone, a while back, posted a site that listed decks used in different shows (TV and Movies). I can't remember who or where, but maybe they'll see this and post the address again! Anyone remember???

Hi Lil-Angel, SummerRaine was trying to indentify the tarot deck used in a movie and Diana advised her to check on www.tarottotes.com. It is a great site where you can find a "Tarot in movies and on TV" section so check it out ! There was something about two Charmed episodes, older than the one you mention (what a spoiler you gave us :( ...) . It is worth checking out ! So if you find something, thank Diana ;) Kissa
