I can't find the post in which someone mentioned that they had the Napo - sorry, whoever you are... Please tell me what you think of this deck. I am gaga over what I've seen of the art (I am a sucker for Trippy Decks), but can you tell me whether it's particularly usable? Or is it just nice to look at and own?

I'm resurrecting this particular thread about the Napo that Qolus started almost 4 months ago because I have this deck on it's way to me and am interested in hearing the responses from others that own it.

I Don`t own it but I`m glad you`ve resurrected this thread Starfish, I`ve looked at some images and it certainly looks as if it could go on the wish list, I love the colours, it looks gorgeous.

I LOVE it! The colors are wonderful; the pictures manage to be simple yet complex at the same time. The are smooth and slightly slippery; perfect for shuffling.
Now, I wish Mojo would tell me some more about this deck. I thought I read somewhere that he owns it too....
Off to go and play with my new deck -

I've had this deck for awhile.
The author's style of drawing, choice of colors, and costumes reflects Argentinean culture. While there are some new innovations in the Major Arcana they are still close enough to the traditional images to make using them easy. The Minor Arcana are primarily a simplified redrawing of the Rider-Waite-Smith images. The Minor Arcana have a keyword both in English (on the Top) and Spanish (on the bottom). Major Arcana have the card title (in English and Spanish). Many of the key words are from Crowley's Thoth, but different ones are used when the image doesn't reflect Crowley's meaning. Court cards are King, Queen, Knight and Page. It's a pretty deck and certainly usable for anyone familiar with the RWS deck-i.e. no learning curve whatsoever. The cards are a nice size, shuffle well, and are well made. I would recommend it for anyone who likes the art style or is looking for a deck with a Hispanic slant to it. It's primarily another RWS "clone." It's probably not going to change the way you look at tarot cards or significantly add to your understanding of the cards (That's not necessarily bad).
