"Weise Frauen" ???

Hi, here is a question for our german friends, I guess. I have read the name of the Weise Frauen tarot on a AG Müller advertising card that came with my Vision Quest. I searched the internet but wasn't able to get any picture or any review of this deck so I really wonder what it looks like, what is the style and the influences for example. Is it a Rider-Waite clone with a strong pagan feminine theme ? I am just being curious, thank you if someone can give me some info ;) Kissa

www.google.com I did a quick search on "tarot frauen" and immediatly got several url's describing this deck. Anyway, one of them is http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a7925004/weisfrau.htm which also has some pictures on it. For the rest of them I really advice you to use google or yahoo or....

I'm pretty sure it's a German edition of the Tarot of the Old Path.. New2Tarot

Since "Der Alte Weg" means "The Old Path," you're probably right.

I don't know if that was sarcasm or what, but the images appear to be the same, and the card borders are definitely the same. Also, often certain english phrases don't translate well into foreign languages, and this often means the name of a product is altered slightly to be practically translated. Meaning "The" and "Old" and "Path" may translate seperately, but when put together to form a phrase, they may not successfuly translate. Anyway, that's my $0.02, i think it's the Tarot of the Old Path. Also, the literal translation of this title is "Tarot of the Wise Women".. New2Tarot

Thank you all. I had made a search with Google using the title of the tarot "weise frauen tarot" and couldn't get any pictures or even the authors' names which would have immediatly ring a bell. I didn't know the complete title was "Der alte Weg : Tarot der weisen Frauen". It would have helped too !! ;) Anyway, thank you all for clearing that up and helping me :) IMHO it definitely looks like it is the german version of "The Old Path". Kissa
