Hello. Does anyone have any really old decks that they might have inherited or maybe found at an antique store, whatever. How did they feel to you compared to newer decks? I've recently acquired one, but I did cleanse it first. It works just fine, but I'm curious to hear what other people think. Kind Regards, Starcrow

The only 'old' deck I have is a 50s or early 60s print of the Marteau version of the Marseilles Grimaud deck. One of the real difference between this deck and even the same deck of a later print is the thickness... the earlier deck is a good 50% thicker!

Hi Jmd: That sounds like a deck I would love! I just got one from Ebay, and I can't believe my luck. It's the Eteilla deck, one of his first, it's from around 1860-1900. It's my pride and joy. I have all the encyclopedias of Tarot, so I know what it is. I only used it once, though, more for my collection.
