This post is primarily aimed and my esteemed Taro-holic brothers and sisters and to all who are interested in the Inner Child Cards. In browsing through my wishlist on Amazon I discovered that this deck is OOP (according to Amazon), there are several used copies left, but not many under $25.00. If you are interested in this deck you might want to look into it now before it gets too hard to find or too expensive. Just thought I would pass this on.

*Kiama breathes a huge sigh of relief* I got this one about 6 months ago. Glad I did! I didn't know it was OOP though... I didn't think it had been out long enough for that! Interesting though...

I just got mine at Barnes and Noble (at the local store here-not online) about a month ago.
Maybe the used sections online might have them? If not, we might have to rely on the kindness of the locals.
I really like this deck and would hate to see it go scarce (of cource I love all "storybook" decks :D ) Very pretty deck. Very upbeat and sweet too.

I know I still see it on ebay quite often. So if you are interested they're still out there - at least for now.
I found one on ebay for only $6 about 4 or 5 months ago!!!! I'm such a bargain hunter! LOL

i checked amazon and there seems to be 2 versions of this deck. the one in the pink box is OOP. there is one in a yellow box that's in print. same authors, same name, what's the difference? there is also an inner child cards workbook coming out in august w/ a yellow cover. do i break my neck to get the pink box or is the yellow box the same deck, different clothes?

Hi, folks --
I'm 99 percent sure that the pink box version was allowed to go out of print, and the yellow box one is the exact same deck and book but with a new cover, just like they just brought out the Mythic Tarot in a new package design. And the new workbook that's coming out shares the same color scheme as the new edition of the deck. So my advice is to not bother with the old pink one, just buy the new yellow one. :)

I ordered mine for $12.50 I think so I was pleased with getting a boxed set that cheap *LOL*. A workbook you say? ~grins~ hmmmmm ... must wait and hear its reviews.
Well glad to hear it is not really going OOP, as I had pondered over getting it for years. Perhaps it was just time *LOL*. Sorry if I alarmed anyone with my mis-information, my only excuese is that as a taro-holic I had a panic attack *ROFLMAO*.

I wish they made a smaller version though. I dont have very big hands and though the cards are pretty, they are soooo hard to shuffle!

ROFLMAO you mean to tell me that you don't have to have it yellow, too? the upcoming workbook is going to be yellow. how are you going to handle the 2 of them not matching? a pink room for the pink set and a yellow room for the yellow? or if you and hubby to be have kids-the yellow set for the boy and pink for the girl? surely, a must have for the child of a tarot-holic for home tarot schooling.
btw, panic attack forgiven. you've given off too many good alarms to your tarot-holic siblings for us to be angry. you're allowed a mistake. ;)

This was reprinted in November of 2001, according to bordersstores.com, and that edition is readily available at my Borders and the other four in my area. The original 1992 edition is indeed out of print, and it looks like I can get it from one of the stores, if anyone really wants it; but it doesn't look like there's a difference in the editions really. They're both from Bear and Company, they're both US$35, and the boxes even look the same. Also, a workbook is apparently being published this August.
