even as a newcomer to tarot i am aware that many people don't regard the londa deck as a serious tarot deck. but, i went through pictures of just about every deck in search of one that really called to me, and though i like a lot of decks and plan to collect a few more, the londa deck was the one i had to have. i have a rider waite deck i am using as a backup so when a londa card doesn't seem detailed enough i check out the rider waite. but londa's creatures have been very accurate so far.
does anyone else like londa?

I love the deck, but never bout it...I love the artwork..it's odd..yet beautiful..
SO..now I HAVE to buy it I guess...lol
I feel if you can "see with a deck" or "are called by a deck"..you should own it..

I got this deck thru a trade and I like the artwork but I do not use it as I only use decks for my querents which can be easily replaced and which do not look too dark to them.

i have the who are you, really card in the deck, Phoenix, but it has never yet surfaced. perhaps i already know who i am. more likely it will slip out and confront me when the time is right.
a very odd thing is that if you look on the desk of the eight of pentacle you will see the same pewter dragon that sits on my own desk. that was really weird.
cjtarot, if you like the londa deck, have you checked out londa's work in progress, The Alchemist Deck? you can find it at londa art. it is something else! and she is writing a story to go with it.
catlin, do your querents find the deck dark? it never occured to me. i knew it would be an aquired taste but i didn't realise it could actually unsettle people.
one thing i like about the deck is the fool. he is not the blithe, carefree spirit we see on many decks. this guy looks ar you with wary eyes. you can tell he's been on the road awhile.
