Hi Everyone,
I purchased Medieval Scapini a few moths ago, a first it didn't work that much for me, but now I have dedicated more time to looking at the beautiful pictures and reading the descriptions and I have falling in love with this deck. The cards would have to be my favourite at the moment.
Anyone else using them much? Is there an accompanying book to the deck? The little booklet which comes with it is good, but I want more! :)

This was my first deck; it was given to me when I was 15. I'm still very fond of the art, although I don't use the deck much anymore - primarily because it's all warped from years of overzealous shuffling, and also it has some water stains on it. :) One day I'll get around to replacing it. I find it so...uh, illuminated. It has matte gold backs (most of you guys probably know this) and, as someone was saying about the Nefertari and Gold Visconti, the images really jump out at you in a good way. I think it was probably a good deck to learn on.

Iv'e got this deck as well...Ihave used it several times for client readings but i like the Sacred rose and the R/W best...it isn't clear enough for me and i don't mean that in the sense of image quality..it just doesn't speak clearly I suppose :TFOOL

Hey, all!
Now that I have over 50 decks (yay!), this deck seems like a 'classic' to me. The reason is that it was my second deck, and my only reading deck for a long time, so reading with it now is like visiting with an old friend. Very cool.
I've only ever seen the LWB that comes with the deck. The artist, Luigi Scapini, is a very prolific Tarot artist, and I don't think I've ever seen a deck by him that has a full-size book with it. Too bad! :(
I'm glad the deck has grown on you. At first some of the cards did seem rather...odd. But now it's amazing how often, when I hear (or read about) someone talking about a certain card, and the first image that comes to my mind is from the Medieval Scapini!
Have fun with your new deck! :D
Peace,
Melvis
