My new decks

I just got the Goddess tarot and the Thoth...at borders outlet (sorry there are only one or two left...by the time i get back there, they will be gone) i got them for 1.99 each...only reason they were that cheap was because the box was ragged..the cards are still in cellafane..I love that place..if you haveone..I would definately go to it!

Which Thoth did you get?? The one with the Three Magus' in it?? The Thoth is an amazing deck. I love it!

well the colours on that deck are simply amazing!! It is a different deck though meaning that it doesn't use the tradiional tarot symbols, but definately worth it to a collector.

We only just got a Borders here in Sydney. They are a bit scant in the Tarot section, stocking mostly the more common decks. I understand that Borders is suppose to be a really handy place. But unfortunately if we here in Sydney want to get our hands on anything that is more unique then we have to order from the net. There are a couple of smaller stores here that will get the decks in for you, but it is far easier (and quicker) to order via the net. We have a bit of catching up to do.....

I end up buying all my new decks at Borders because I work there and I get a discount (although the part-timers get a bigger one... grrr). In general, our tarot selection needs a lot of work. It does seem better than that of Barnes & Noble fortunately. Once in a while we get decks that are bargain items, usually because they have gone out of print; in my store's case these are usually oracle decks though.

I need one of those Borders outlet stores! I would love to get my hands on decks... ANY decks... If they were that cheap! Wow! I have a Borders near me, but their decks are expensive.. So I'm guessing they're [i]not[/i[ an outlet store! :( I need to locate one near me.. Anthing withn a 100 mile radius will do! Kiama PS- Redwood, the Thoth is a wonderful deck for studying. I don't use it for readings, but I can go through it over and over, and every time I look at it, I learn something new!

Kiama, I seem to get that same vibe from Thoth as well. Interestinjg you raise that point. It lead me to studying astrology and the Qabalah.

I noticed on all the decks I buy the cards are in order from the fool - the end of pentacles....The Thoth was not..Does it do that for all the Thoth decks? I dont think it has been used it was still wrapped in cellaphane and looked like the deck hasnt been touched..
