PoMo deck

WARNING: All of you taro-holics please don't read this unless you want another deck for you wishlist!!!! ROFL OK, I finally!!!! found a copy of this OOP deck! I've been watching for a reasonably priced one and finally found it for $25 on ebay!!! :O I absolutely love it! It's a very quirky modern deck by Brian Williams! The artwork is amazingly simple and clean looking but also very fun! The Empress and Emperor have been changed to Mom and Dad!! The Hermit is called "out of it" :D I bought it for the modern artwork, but am finding the book to be wonderful!!! Brian has such a slapstick but completely understandable way of writing about some of the cards. Some examples: some of the meanings he wrote for "The End" (judgement) say "Everybody out of the pool! Thweeeet! The party's over, that's all she wrote, the fat lady sings......every dog has its day. All's well that ends well" LOL And he says the "Evil" (the Devil) card is "Bad juju" I haven't even had a chance to read through the whole book. I've just scanned the majors. But I definitely am very glad I was able to find one. This deck is pretty hard to find, but I have to say it's well, well worth the hunt!!! I love it!!!

oooh... I knew I wanted this deck, but didn't realize it could be had reasonably, and with a proper book too! fauna, you are very, very dangerous ;)

Its OOP???!!!! DAMNIT! I saw this deck a couple of months ago, for a very reasonable price, but it didn't attract me very much... Now I want it, and I doubt it'll be there if I go back.. *Sigh* Kiama

I recently bought it from E-bay too, for $26.50. It is a very cool deck -- very different from anything else I have. The book is good, too. I haven't tried reading with it yet... has anyone else? Sue
