i'm interested in getting the rohrig-tarot but wanted to know if it is necessary to get the book (together i find it a bit to expensive). in the review here is said that it's a nice book (pictures, ect.) but the text is not that good and the lwb is good enough, so i wanted to ask what you would recommend me.

I recommend you go buy it from www.powells.com they have the deck/book set for a measly 9.98,thats only 14.98 with the more expensive shipping, the deck aloneis usually 25 so go get it! I did :) :THP

i own the book and love it. it's illustrated w/ card sized pictures by the definitions. i enjoy reading the text but it's not necessary to understand the deck if the LWB is good. the rohrig book is just one of life's little pleasures that i enjoy. there's not many accompanying books that are as attractive, imho.
