Now that i finally got some money that i am willing to spend, and i want to get my interest back for tarot i want to buy a new deck. But i want something that's worth my money. I want that perfect deck that we're all searching for!!! Can anyone give me suggestions?
My perfect deck would have to be a mix between the Sacred Circle deck. The new millenum deck. Adrian Tarot. and a normal poker deck. As you can see I like computer animated decks.
All of these decks i was thinking about buying but they seem to be lacking something. And i can't help but think that theres this one perfect deck out there thats just calling my name! I know there is actually! I can feel it. I don't know how but i just know theres a perfect deck out there for me! Maybe you guys have seen my perfect deck?

M.,
spoken like a true tarot-junky!
we are ALL in search of the "perfect deck", at least in theory. those who deny it? don't believe 'em!
actually, what phoenix said--->ditto! the cosmic tribe is what i thought of immediately, when you listed the other examples. also check out the voyager tarot, if you're not familliar with it. but i'll be suprised if you don't like the cosmic tribe...

I love the pips in the cosmic tribe, and i thought it was the deck for me until i looked at the majors... Theres too much nudity... And too many real ppl. Maybe if there were majors that didn't have ppl on them, or real ppl! well maybe i could buy it and only use the pips? the pips are absolutely beautiful... I loved them
I also like the vortex tarot. but it seems to simple, but it is lovely!

The voyager was too cluttered. It reminds me of those search and find books. and the rohrig is too real life... Hmmm. Walters Tarot looks promising though! I don't know, am i being too picky? Thanks for all of your help. I just wish finding a deck was easier, Like there was one site with all the decks in the world categorized for you.

The thing I've found out (through experience with many, many decks LOL) is that the decks will feel and look different when you actually have them in your hands!
I've seen many decks I thought I really loved on the internet only to have them in my hands and not connect with them at all. Or the complete opposite happens - I don't like a deck on the web and love it when I can flip through it myself.
So the good news is you get to buy lots-o-decks!!! The bad news is you get to buy lots-o-decks!!! ROFL All to find that "perfect" deck.
But let me tell you what may happen. I have found 3 or 4 "perfect" decks!!! I have the "perfect" no nonsense reading deck, the "perfect" meditation deck, the "perfect" coddling deck for when I want things sugar coated a bit, etc. ROFL

Ditto ... ditto ... ditto ... The second deck I bought for myself, the Robin Wood to me is a perfect deck. Used it almost exclusively for 7 years. Then one day a few of my Aeclecting friends influenced me into buying the Cosmic Tribe (I normally dislike collage decks and unillustrated pips), but I got the deck because I am a collector and this is the 1st deck to ever come out with 3 Lovers cards ... thus I had to have it. To make a long story short when I opened the deck and went through the cards I fell in love with it. Within less than 3 days I no longer even noticed the nudity! The Cosmic Tribe has been my primary deck since it arrived on my door step. So now I have 2 perfect reading deks, I have a several perfect study decks, meditation decks, spiritual development etc.
I think Geenius has a good point here. What do you like and dislike of those "almost perfect" decks?
Liliana, any deck will work with Tarot for Yourself. Just use your favorite! makes it more fun too!

the gendron is beautiful too. If i could see that one in person i probably would buy it, but here on the site the images are a little blurred, I think tonight i'll look it up on the internet and see if they have the full deck out there tha i can actually look at each card!
I truly don't know what i don't like about the other decks. They just don't seem to have everything i want. Or they have everything i want, and more that i didn't want. But i like the landscapes and colors in most of them. I like how the worlds seem to be "fantasy". somewhat realistic but yet if you look at them you know they could never happen in real life.
