Got my Vertigo Tarot! Wohoo!

So this deck finally arrived today, the new(er) edition. I LOVE it. What more can I say.... BUT (lol) I probably should have listened to the advice I was given from GAW in waiting to see if a more thicker card stock version was going to be published. But other than that. This deck is truly a work of art. If another edition is published, I will probably get it and have this one as just a deck for collective and nonuse purposes, dunno yet though. But I am so adoring this deck! Lin

That was the first really subtle deck that I got. I love it too at this point, although I think that without having read Rachel's book I'd be pretty lost when trying to do spreads with it. The card stock is an annoyance; then again, there;s always the possibility that it *won't* be reprinted, so I'm glad I got it when I did...

So true, that IS a possibility. I think I am going to break sooner or later and shuffle the deck. I am starting to have a twitch... Lin

i thought the reprinting last year was the one on thin card stock. i thought that rachel pollack was having it reprinted this year on better card stock and bigger print in the book b/c she wasn't happy w/ it either? what happened? i like my vertigo enough that i was going to invest in this copy b/c i thought it was supposed to be better. what happened to the "improvements"?

:( I don't know, I got my thin one from ebay from a comicbook merchant... But if you or anyone hear anything please let me know... like you, I'll buy the thicker version also. So good to hear you like Vertigo truthsayer! :D Lin

I got the "New Edition" around a few months back. That is one on thinner stock. Does the NEW New edition still say New Edition?

i got my new edition in september of 2001. i heard here recently that there was going to be a reprinting this summer b/c rachel pollack wasn't pleased w/ the quality of the card stock and the small print of the book. the new one is supposed to be on thicker stock and bigger print. of course, this was hearsay and i've no evidence to support my contention. i don't use it for readings. i prefer being mesmerized by the images. vertigo has this way of pulling me in... :)
