Or rather, my husband did because I oohed and aahed it a few days before at the local shop.
I have seen the thread lower down, but one thing that I didn't catch before that I did now that I was looking at all the cards is how they sort of have a rather Victorian greeting card look to them.
The wood look is Kinda Neat, too. Not sure about reading with this deck, but I like the excercises/spells for the cards in the companion book.

Say, is this the one that looks like tapestries, or quilts maybe?
If so, I had my very first experience with tarot with this deck, and it has totally changed my life! Hope you love it!

Violet Gargoyle,
I agree with you about the cards having that Victorian greeting card feel to them. I used to always buy a Victoria calendar every year. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw these cards. I, too, like the companion book and how it has the spells and exercises to go with each card. Although I've only done one small reading with this deck, I do like using it more for meditation and for dailies...that's howI can more easily apply the suggestions for each card.
Catcha later,
Jimilyn
