New decks from lo scarabeo on tarot passages!!!

I i just checked www.tarotpassages.com and they are showing some of the new decks from LO Scarabeo.... And o My the animal lord tarot is great, the mermaid tarot and even a PAGAN tarot that i like!!! Hoera!!!!!!! I start saving up now becuease it seems that i'm going to need three more decks this summer GO ON AND TAKE A LOOK!!!!!!

i like that pagan tarot as well, and the mermaid, yes. my wishlist grows faster than i get decks, i don't need more decks. i posted in another thread new loscarabeo decks as well, i remember liking the tarot of durer very much.

Thanks Lee! Phoenix PM'd me and it seems like when I click on the link it takes me to the site before it got updated??? Is that possible?? Because when I go to the site I see The World Card from the Olympus deck, not the Lovers from the Fey Tarot that Phoenix says is there???? From your link though I got to see the decks! Many thanks! Now if I can just figure out what's going on with my computer and accessing sites??????

Very classy art on that Pagan Tarot, though the theme's not up my alley; if it were, I'd be all over it (same as I feel about Robert Place's Tarot of the Saints).

How dare those guys pound out more gorgeous decks when I still "need" several of their other decks?? They're like drug dealers, jeez! The Fey is just breathtaking, and I'm not usually as keen on fairies/faeries as many of y'all. The Mermaid looks less usable for reading, but is so, so pretty. I actually like the colors of the Pagan, although the lines are probably too comicky for my taste, and it's nice to see someone try to more accurately reflect modern paganism in a deck.

Qolus, that's just my sentiments exactly ! My wish list keeps getting longer and longer... Not only are these decks beautiful, they're also so different from the ones I have. I don't know if I'd use them for reading, I'd buy them because I like them a lot and then see how it goes. The fay deck is different from other faery decks, still sweet but less in a sugary way, more energetic. And the mermaids... just love the art work... The pagan deck is done in a style that does not really appeal to me.

while i do "ohh and ahhh" a lot over the lo scarabeo decks and find them very pretty, i just cannot use them. like they are not "real" tarot decks. hard to explain just what i mean - but when i hold my celtic tarot or the olympus or the art nouvea - i like them as art - but they leave me cold. i still want the etruscian deck though - and the animal lords one:) but i am aware that i want them only for the collection, to look at and feast my eyes on. perhaps they are just too new and unused... perhaps a well used second hand lo scarabeo deck would be different. could it be that simple?

I really like the Animal Lords tarot. It's like walking into a book by Brian Jacques or Alan Dean Foster! It's great! I also like the Pagan tarot here... even if it does remind me of one of those old cartoon strips from the Sunday paper. Rhiannon :)

I'm planning to send an email to lo scarabeo to ask them when these decks are realesed.... i'm a litlle affraid of the answer :( Don't think i can wait long! BTW is the author of the Pagan tarot the same Gina as the webhost of www.wicce.com ?

OK, next day.....and I can actually access the revised site now! LOL My computer decided to do it job! I completely agree with the couple of you that said you can't read with the lo scarabeo decks. I've gotten a couple before and always ended up trading them. I love the artwork, but can't read with them at all. Then after I've had them for awhile I don't even want to keep them anymore. I always end up with a cold feeling???? I sure hope that doesn't happen with these decks though. I love the animal lords, fey, mermaids, and the pagan (I like the cartoonish/comic book look).

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Fey Tarot is to be released sometime in September (this year). Haven't heard or seen anything from the others though.

I like the Mermaid deck but....about its the Tower card example: Is the card scene supposed to be underwater? If yes, where is the fire coming from? If it is not in the water, then how did the mermaid get up there to fall down, since she doesn't display "Land Legs"? I know, I know... I should be looking at the symbolism and ignore this stuff, but since I am the person who has previously done a research paper as to why Mr. Peanut has a cane, and so I get caught up in details sometimes..... I like the Fey deck and the Animal Lord decks, the Vampire one is okay, but really not my taste...
