3 Tarot decks, sitting in the shop,
3 Tarot decks sitting in the shop,
Kiama came in, and grabbed the whole lot,
So there's no more Tarot decks sitting in the shop!
Well, it was kinda like that... I got bored at having not got new deck for more than 2 weeks, so I took matters into my own hands... First off, I ordered the Whimsical Tarot set... Then, on a trip to Poole today, I found a shop which I hadn't bought from before... Not only did they have the Bosch Tarot, but they had the Ibis Tarot too! Needlss to say, I snapped them up pretty sharpish...
The Ibis Tarot is an absolute treasure,... The names of the Majors are stunningly inspirational, and give way to a whole new look at each Major... Thec clours are scrumptious, and the concept behind it all is wonderful... This deck is a must-have. Its the first Egyptian dek I've got, and I love it to bits!
The Bosch deck... What else can I say except WEIRD. I think its worth buying it just because of the weirdness of trying to migle the artwork of Heironymus Bosch with the Tarot! Cerainly one for the collectors, but definitely not a reading deck at all...
So, there we are... All my hard-earned money spent on some very nice decks indeed! :D Long live Tarot-holism!
Kiama
Oooh! Nearly forgot! From that very same shop I got me a RAINSTICK! YEEEEEHHHAAAAA! :D :D :D

Kiama -
Congratulations on your new goodies! I'm not familiar with the Ibis, so I'm off to go and find it online to have a look-see.
(Love rainsticks, btw. Cool purchase)

Honey, I wouldn't be so sure about it...
O had the same impression. And found myself reading that EERIE deck already four times now.
I do think you should give it a try. Maybe you'll feel drawn to it in the future.
That deck is a PECULIAR experience, I migth say... :)

I really want to examine the Ibis more closely. I've seen it online, and maybe looked at it at a store, but I've had pretty knarly luck with Egyptian decks. I ordered an Egyptian deck once, and was so excited when I got it. Home I ran, cards all over the house, staring at me, I'm staring at them. I'm so excited, eagerly searching....and the more I looked at them the more I disliked them.
Ok, I know it's hot in Egypt, but these cards just seemed
dead to me. I couldn't connect at all. Since then I've been looking for another deck I would love...nothing. So please let me know if you totally love this deck or if it's so-so.
*desperately wanting to find my deck...*

I had the Ibis in my collection but traded it away for a deck which I could not get here.
Whimsical is ordered but still not delievered by amazon. They told me that it will be dilievered in the mid of July :(
Sorry to say, but Bosch leaves me cold.
But anyway, congrats to your new goodies and your song!
