Do any of you have this deck and what do you think of it ?
I have been searching the internet shops for this deck before, did a search again today and managed to find a shop that had a second hand but good as new copy of this deck, yahoooo !
I have seen some pictures of it with nature/animals which made me fall in love with this deck, so I hope I'won't be disappointed.
I'll kill the mailman if he looses this one ;)

Thanks Kaz, I saw some of the cards somewhere else but not all of them. This deck really has positive energy, it's so warm and lively!
Looks like it could become my favourite deck !
I didn't want to buy any more decks for the time being, but when I saw this one for sale I jumped an the opportunity - it's not easy to find !

I was given Greenwood as a gift and it's a lovely deck. There are some difference from the usual RW clone, especially in the Majors, but that's okay. What I like about this deck is, first, it's one of the few that seems to do really well with reversals. I don't usually do reversals as I just get annoyed that my picture is upside down--not so with Greenwood, where an up-side-down card can be a whole new picture, if you get my drift.
I think it's because all parts of the card, lower, middle, upper, flow into one another. So reversing the card offers a different flow.
Second--this deck contains my all time favorite Hermit. Wonderful, wonderful card. Really captures the Hermit spirit.

you know, maan, w/ all the OOP decks you are finding in the netherlands, might we just organize an aeclectic OOP tarot hunt there than wait to find these OOP decks? could it be that by the time these decks get to netherlands if they are going out of print in the usa? or do few buy them there and they sit on the shelf for eternity waiting for someone to buy them? at any rate, netherlands is starting to sound like the tarot deck afterlife! LOL

It took me ages to get my Greenwood deck. I really love it although I still have not done a reading with it so far (we are still in the bonding processus).
Maan, could you pl check if there are other OOP decks available? You know I am still looking for a deck of "Tarot for cats" and a Shakespeare deck.
Pl let us know.

Hi all,
The Greenwood is one of my all time favorite decks. The readings I get are very clear. It probably wouldn’t be THE deck for everyone but I sure like it!

Qolus...it will probably go to someone at Aeclectic so don't send everyone overthere to push the price higher ;)
I thought I found the deck at an online bookshop but they had made a mistake and did not have the deck anymore.
So I felt }) }) but by chance discovered a copy at ebay.
Damn, should not have started this thread and draw everyone's atterntion to it !

Och well, that will teach me not to cheer about a deck before I have it safely in my hands !
Anyway, someone I know is from Show Low and is at this moment praying for his house to be saved from the forest fires.
Makes you put a deck of cards into perspective !
I will still go for the deck though ;) if I don't get it I will probably compensate by buying every other deck I might want, so in the end it will be cheaper to spend a little more on this deck.
Haven't checked what the price is now, I'll have a look straight away.

So, did you get the deck? my Greenwood has a wonderful story to it, which makes it even more special to me. One day Kaz PMd me that she had found the Green Wood on E-bay but would only ship it in the US. We both wanted it, but she spotted it first so we agreed that I would buy it and mail it to her and she would reimburse me via pay-pal. Well she got the deck and scanned the cards for me to see, and shared all kinds of neat stuff about the deck with me as I continued my search and got on an Amazon waiting list. One day, feeling compasion for me she offered to trade the deck to me. Thanks again Kaz, I do love it. What is funny is that the deck first came to me, I sent it to Kaz and then it came back to me (thanks to Kaz). What is the saying, if you love something set it free ... if it comes back it is yours, if not it never was *LOL*
Anyway, I hope you got or some day get the deck it is very special.

Well I mean I "won" it (funny people at ebay, always saying you win something and you still have to pay) but havent'got it here yet, I also have to ship it through another person because the seller only ships inside US.
I got up in the middle of the night to see how the bid went, well there was nothing happening until litterally the last minute someone placed a bid and price went up as high as 37.50 which was still a bit under my max heehee and then time was up, so I was just lucky I guess.
Including shipping it'll be a bit more expensive than what the bookshop asked but not really that much.
Now I'm in for a long wait... it's always a surprise when things from US come in, sometimes quickly sometimes slowly.

Congratulations on winning bid.
I am happy for you, you finally got your deck.
The last few seconds are crucial, as many ppl wait until then.

To be honest I don't think I or my trusty old computer are very good at these every-second-counts bids. I got decks from ebay before, I just calculated how much I could pay and still have a profit from getting it there instead of a shop. Then I placed the bid and usually got what I wanted. You have to be a bit lucky as well I guess...
