What are your experiences with it?

yes, as jewel said i have the wheel of change and love it. the pictures are beautiful, the images unique from the rws standard,it's multicultural and i think it's nongender biased. i think the 10 of swords is my fav in the whole deck. it shows the inside of a barn w/ different kinds of sharp tools. outside a planet=i think uranus peeks inside. i love its nontraditional nonviolent appearance. the card have a matte instead of glossy look. i've always preferred matte images over gloss. the book written by the author is well done and quite interesting.
i think you'll like it. it's a very unique deck that has a style all its own. in fact, if you look in the tarot deck archives to around april, i wrote quite a bit about this deck's nuances. i also demonstrated a reading in the tarot reading section. check it out!

Hi
I`ve got this deck on order too. It should arrive the 1st week of July and I can`t wait. I wanted a pagan deck but I also wanted something quite modern and unusual. From the images I`ve seen on the authors website and after reading Truthsayers posts I`m rally looking forward to reading with this deck.

I have this deck but haven't really worked with it much. I love it, but unfortunately, got it during a really busy time personally. Thanks for the reminder!

Wheel of Change is a very cool deck. It's multicultural and has really great , colorful art. A lot of the symbolism is strongly feminine, in the Empress, Moon, and Judgement cards, for example. I know this puts off some people, but I wasn't bothered by it. The book is large and informative, and some of Genetti's theories are interesting, like the Tarot Tree. Many of the cards have modern scenes. It's a well-thought-through deck (it took 10 years to make) with original use of suit symbols -- disks may be cobwebs, wands may be juggler's torches, among other things. It is one of my newer decks, and I am still getting to know it. Genetti's meanings are different than the traditional ones in many cases, so it may take a while, but I think it will be worth the effort.

P.S. I forgot to mention that this deck has my favorite Hermit of all time. The 8 of Disks and 2 of Wands are two more favorites. I smile every time I see the Devil -- the symbolism of that cucumber and tomatoes isn't terribly subtle. And what kind of leaf is that goat munching on...?

Yep, I got it in the meantime! The book is really great! I love huge books.
I still have had no time to do a reading with it, though.

Well my WoC deck and book set arrived on Saturday and all I can say is that upon first inspection it looks awsome. I`m quite a tarot beginner so it`ll probably take me awhile to get into, my other deck is the New Palladini so I`ve been going with RW imagery so far. This is a very female/pagan orientated deck so it`s just what I`ve been looking for. I toyed with the idea of getting the Tarot of the Old Path for a while and I`m glad I didn`t now. Can`t wait to try my first reading with this deck.

the WoC is a quite different system that the waite smith. to me the ws is more masculine whereas the woc is quite feminine. i find genetti's imagery much more positive than ws. the meanings in woc vary from the ws. i don't know how to suggest a beginner separate the two but i want you to know so that you don't get frustrated w/ woc when it doesn't match w/ the ws. they are both tarot but woc is a tarot system to itself. i think if you see if that way you'll get on better. tarot of the old path is more comparable interpretation wise w/ ws. the imagery is different from ws. neither deck is a ws clone but top is not as rich in inner work by the authors as alexandra genetti put in woc. she put 10 years into it and that difference is quite apparent from top. i believe tarot of the old path would be easier to read while learning the basics of tarot.
i'm not saying this to discourage you from woc. i want you to love the deck as much as i do. fore warned is fore armed tho.

Thanks for the advice Truthsayer. Even though this deck is so different from RW I`m loving it already. I`m using my RW cards as my main deck still and I`m studying Genetti`s book very carefuly. I find her imagery quite straightforward to work out and as a witch myself I can identify with the images she has used quite well (well so far I think I can). I`ve only had the cards a few days but I`m sure they`re just going to grow on me more and more, some of the spreads in the book look really interesting as well.
Blessings

Anyone know where I can get the deck by itself? I thought I had ordered the set but ended up with just the book ~pouts~ ... so either I need to sell the book so I can re-order a set, or find the deck alone ... at Amazon I seemed to keep coming up with the book or the sets, not the deck alone.
