What are some good Tarot decks to get ooooh's and aaaaah's from people?
I have my eye on the Erotic Tarot of Milo Manara (a good match for my work environment) but it's foreign and expensive. I saw something called the Stained Glass Tarot and I thought that was very sexy. Does anybody have any suggestions of crowd pleasing Tarot decks with super fabulous keen art?
I learned on the Robin Wood Tarot and it's cute and pleasing to the eye but it's a little lame. I need something a little more scandalous and a little more eye-catching to make an impression.
Thanks.

BTW, you can view the cards at the creator's website.

I saw that you mentioned Erotic Tarot. Is that the kind of scandalous you're looking for? I know you said art, but is that in conjunction with subject matter? If you're looking strictly for erotic, then you could always get the Tarot of Casanova. It's done mostly in pastels, but the subject matter is obviously... well, quite erotic. Only problem is readability. Even though you're looking to wow others, you should also make sure that the deck speaks to you enough so you can read it. That way, you'll be able to wow people with both the art and your accuracy.
Hmmm... what others? Morgan Greer has bright colors and bold lines. Victoria Regina is neat although it's done in black and white. You could try an Egyptian tarot as well.

There is also the rohrig. The art is very tasteful, but there is the odd dis-embodied flying boob. If nothing else, the card size will shock some people. The cards are huge.

I think the Casanova tarot is exactly what you are looking for, for beauty + shock value.
Other beautiful erotic decks would be:
The Black Tarot by Luis Royo
Tarot Erotica by Lori Wells
Manara's Erotic Tarot
Tarot of Decamerone
A non-erotic but darkly "wow" deck would be the Baphomet Tarot by Akron/Giger (which I have) which has been reprinted and reboxed a little more subtly as the HR Giger tarot.

From what I've seen of the decks, I would prefer the Manara (just speaking of attractive, not readability). It seems more sensuous in atmosphere than just naked flesh, some cards are rather subtle and I would not call it really shocking, but I haven't seen all cards yet so I can't judge the whole deck.
It appeals to me more than the Casanova, that's for sure.
Sometimes there are cheaper copies on ebay so I would keep an eye on that if you like it.

Black ang Giger for me too, so goth and dark! })
Ever thought of Crowley's Thoth? And IMO Fantastical and Celtic Dragon also have marvellous artwork. Maybe Winged Spirit too? Probably they are not as scandalous...
Maybe Tarot Erotica might be ... to much... (UGH! :()... here's the link... (UGH! :()

Just look at the Knights... (UGH! :() and The High Priestess and Empress, OMG!!! (UGH!!! :().
I think it is all a huge... UGH!!! :(
And I wonder if you have seen The Garden of Penises (it is a deck, I SWEAR! *LOL*). But that is not scandalous, that simply is gross... (UGH! UGH! UGH! :()

Boy, that one is weird.... 7 of Pentacles ("Stars") is doing it with a ROCK!
The Swords... the S/M suit... hey, the Queen of Stars has a bunny!
And somewhere there was a horse... I like horses... but not THAT way...
And I guess it's safe to say that the creator of the deck had some serious issues with his mother - if you look at the Empress...

Black Tarot by Luis Royo, I'll find the sight that's cheapest in a while. Anyway, this deck is SUPER erotic, but i'll warn you that it was created for the artwork and not for the meaning so the images won't be classic, they'll be different then your used to.

The Spiral is an eyecatching tarot deck as is the black and white (like ink pen drawings) Victoria Regina. :)

As I mentioned with the Stained Glass Tarot, I don't necessarily need naughty naked Tarot. I just need something with freaky keen scandalous artwork that will stand out from fairy tale pastel colored Rider-Waite clone crap.
I checked out Winged Spirit Tarot, for example. Though it's not very naughty naked, it's very stylish and bold. I'm totally gettin it!
Thanks for the suggestions. Keep them coming.

May I suggest, the Dali deck? Expensive, but worth it. Not your typical deck for reading, It's more of a collectors deck. It's magnificent. And the Rohrig is a great, eycatching deck. Lots of boobs, for sure. Voyager is a wonderful, colorful, introspective deck, but not an erotic deck, in my opinion. Cosmic Tribe is really cool and unafraid of the naked human form.

The Manara Tarot is currently published by Lo Scarabeo, and is distributed in North America by Llewellyn Publications. We have it available at Tarot Garden for $20, although I know I've seen claims that it's "HTF" used as an excuse to price it higher. Trust me -- although the erotic theme probably limits the number of "mainstream" venues that offer it, it's not hard-to-find.
I saw something called the Stained Glass Tarot and I thought that was very sexy.
That's an interesting description of the Vetrate (I assume you're referring to the Tarocco delle Vetrate, known as the "Stained Glass Tarot" in English)! It is quite a beautiful deck... I suppose it could be considered "sexy" in its way.
Hmmm... define "scandalous." Sexy, maybe -- but I wouldn't describe the Stained Glass Tarot as "scandalous," unless you're using the word in some sort of "slang" sense.
If you're looking for something that's a bit "over the edge," you might want to take a gander at Leilah Wendell's Gothic Tarot, Nathalie Hertz' Vampire Tarot, Graham Cameron's Phantasmagorical Theater Tarot, Stevee Postman's Cosmic Tribe Tarot, or Sallie Anne Glassman's New Orleans Voodoo Tarot -- all priced very affordably in the $15 - $35 range (the more expensive ones include books). Somewhat more expensive, but also better-described as "scandalous" would be Amerigo Folchi's Tarocco dei Giardini di Priapo (typically mistranslated as "Tarot of the Garden of Penises," but actually correctly translated as "Tarot of the Garden of Priapus")...
...All these suggestions made while keeping in mind that "freaky keen scandalous artwork" is in the eye of the beholder...
