Does anybody else have the Roots of Asia Tarot? What do you think of it?

Hi everybody!
I recently purchased the Roots of Asia tarot. It's an AGM deck, and the images are somewhat based on Buddhist/Tao concepts. I find the artwork to be gorgeous, but haven't read with it yet, I really want to get to know it well. Does anyone else have any experience with this deck? I never saw it anywhere before. I loved it as soon as I set eyes on it, but nobody I know has ever heard of it, never mind read with it. Any buzz about this deck out there? I'd love to know!

Hi DarkElectric, I don't have the deck, but you may want to check out some previous threads, here, here, and here.
Have fun --
Lee :)

I guess this is old news!
Serves me right for being out of the loop for so long! Thanks for the links, Lee, I appreciate it!

No problem at all, it's only natural that folks will be new members, or will come back after an absence, and will have missed some stuff. That's what us moddies are here for! :)

Dragging up this old thread... I was in at my favourite Purveyor o' Decks today for my biannual tarot spree, and I picked up the Roots of Asia demo several times, but ended up walking out with the Casanova deck.
Now, it's (Roots, that is) kind of sticking with me. I did a search, and checked out the old threads, but don't see anything other than "my, how pretty!"
Has anyone had a chance to really use this deck? Could you tell me something of your experiences? Comments? Thoughts? I really don't need another "pretty" deck for the dust collection! :) (Specially not after my Casanova treat. Mm, eighteenth-century dandies! One of my favourite periods!) I'd like something a little new, a bit different to WORK with.

I've only done a few yoga stretches, so I'm not as familiar as some with how this tarot and yoga might pertain to each other? Some of the images do remind me of the gorgeous folk art of semi-tropical Asian sites...but I don't know enough to bring up associations. Maybe I need more Buddhist or East Indian art texts.
I really thought this deck has lovely feeling to it and so far, it's accompanied me on trips. People do have an instant attraction to the pretty art. I don't quite know why, but at the time the Fey was more novel (read tarot with Asian/Italian style anime?), so none of my friends did readings with the Roots of Asia.
I'd like to pair it with a deck that would make for reflective reading. Anyone try the Roots of Asia with another deck? Maybe Navigators of the Mystic Sea or a Thoth-based or RWS style deck? Or another East Indian or Asian deck?
Sorry, this is just adding questions. But that is where I am at with this deck.
