Hi.
I'm really interested in purchasing the Lord of Illusions tarot deck by Clive Barker, but it is out of print. I really, really want it! Is there another way perhaps to get it? I've been wanting this tarot deck for the longest.
Sincerely,
Jose

You could try Tarot Garden. They specialize in Out Of Print decks. Try PMing or emailing Jeanette and/or Lori(mostly Jeanette). She is one of the proprietors of Tarot Garden, and fellow Aeclectic Member!

I think Amazon.com can also get OOP decks, but they are used.

Hope this helps!!!!

Hi, Jose! Jeannette from Tarot Garden here (thanks for the referral, Phoenix!)...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I've not been able to find any evidence that the "Lord of Illusions" cards were ever published. I know that Solandia's page on these cards has U.S. Games listed as having printed them. However, if you check Solandia's list of unpublished decks (which you can see by clicking here), you'll note that the Barker "Illusions" tarot is included on the list.

I have been following U.S. Games' tarot catalog for twenty years, and I'm sorry to say that I've never seen the "Lord of Illusions" tarot included among their offerings. And I have no information on any other publisher who might have made them available. It's quite possible that the cards shown in the Aeclectic library were created solely as props for the movie, and that, in fact, an entire deck does not even exist.

If anyone has any information that shows that the "Illusions" cards were actually made available commercially, I'd be very interested in knowing more as well. Until then, I'm going to have to mark this one down on my list as "unavailable."

I've read your message that you have sent to me regarding the "Lord of Illusions" tarot deck, and I can't help but to feel a little disappointed on the bad news. Though I am very greatful that you've looked it up for me since I was going crazy trying to find information on the possible availability elsewhere.

When I've first seen it on the Aeclectic tarot card list, I've been completely drawn ever since. It just had that 'feel' to it. Have you ever had that feeling of wanting something so bad, just to find out that there is no way to get it, and then to try to look for something else that might be similar but doesn't have that same feel?.. It sucks! There are many other tarot cards that are very nice, and I am a owner of quite a few, but that "Lord of Illusions" deck really sang to me and I've fell in love.

But in anyhow, I am very thankful for your help.:) I feel very good joining this site since I know that I will greatly benefit from it. Take care.
